This is an emotional roller coaster ride that everyone experiences in their own mind as a teenager, this girl just does it more publicly. Good characters, good storyline, a little confusing at times because of the vagueness before the truth comes out. Overall a good read.

This story starts when daisy and daltrey are 5 years old and spans over 15 years loved the music aspect of the story and how childhood friends could grow up to become best friends and soul mates even after daisy not speaking to daltrey for over a year because of the horrible things she went through I highly recommend this book

I really enjoyed the book. I liked the characters and how they had to overcome adversity. I do which another book in series would go more into the new relationship between the two main characters. I would definitely recommend this book.

I believe that this book had a great plot structure and great character backgrounds. It was astounding that it could bring everything that I, personally, look for in a good romance book. It had very good pacing. Very well written, and a total recommendation from me!

Rachel schurig has done it again... the concept that you can find a happily ever after at end of horrid times and the way she portrayed it was wonderful.. it truly makes a great read and I can't wait to read her other books...

While written nicely this story dragged on endlessly. It should be marketed as Yound Adult. The hero and heroine are 19 and the writer has done an excellent job keeping their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors at that cusp of adulthood. I found it unsatisfying that the adults in the story are protagonists who have "done wrong" to the lead couple, who again are immature and rely on others to make life decisions for them. I would not be interested in reading a follow-up to this story.

This book surprised me. I guess I was expecting it to be like other books I've read with a damaged girl and a rocker hunk with crazy sex, but the story was actually sweet. It was a nice surprise not to be bombarded with the usual smut. Don't get me wrong, I do like a good erotic book at times. But reading a sweet story is a nice change of pace. I enjoyed this book and I'm glad I read it.

I gave this book three stars for multiple reasons. First, it is a repetitive story line, was not original at all, the characters fell flat for me and I just couldn't connect with them. However, I couldn't give this book lower than a 3 star rating because the writing is done fairly well and the author does attempt to develop and grow the characters in the story. Unfortunately, I felt the characters were almost forced with their 'problems' in the beginning but by the end they were a bit more believable. I would probably give this author another shot, but won't be rushing out the day it is released.
