Carter Reed 2 (Carter Reed Series)

I really loved the first Carter Reed story. This one was great but it took over half of the book to get to the crux of the story. Carter was still the quintessential bad ass, but even this was down played. There were many things left unsaid, but this is the "CARTER REED SERIES" so hopefully, the answers are down the road. Mind, you, I still enjoyed this book. It's Carter Reed!

I have absolutely no idea where to begin. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED READING ABOUT CARTER AND EMMA!! I haven’t read any of the reviews...the quick introduction was enough to get me reading!! Their journey is brutal and beautiful all bundled together...beautiful!!

CARTER REED 2 is a worthy sequel to its predecessor, CARTER REED. It is a fine, fine story, with characters I have come to know and love. I grew with them; I hurt with them; I wanted them to be safe. CR2 is a worthy read: worthy of my time; worthy of my mind; and worthy of my emotions. These characters will stay with me a very long time. I am glad of that. For sure.

Oh I sooo enjoyed this mafia love suspense! Carter was so hot, true and bad ass. The relationship with Emma and Carter was very loyal.....they understood each other and loved each other no matter their troubles.....snd boy there were a lot of twist. I recommend you get part 1 and start reading!

What a good book. Carter Reed is just something else. I loved this book and couldn't put it down once I got into it. The book was mostly about the war between the 2 families and Carter and his group trying to wade through it. Carter is definitely a scary character. I love his love for Emma and she is a strong woman. So glad I read this story.

I love reading about Carter and Emma. I love mafia romances. This one is full of twists and turns that I didn't see coming. I am not going to post any spoilers, but just know that there is more to this story than what we get from Carter Reed 1...and the end of this one leaves room for a Carter Reed 3. I hope we get it someday.

I really tried to take my time reading this book, but I couldn't put it down. I devoured every word Tijan wrote. It seemed like each page got better than the next. Emma and Carter's story was wonderfully written. There were twists and turns that you couldn't see coming. The supporting cast was great as well. Maybe some of them will get a book;) Just saying...I applaud you Tijan! Another great book!

This series is an action packed, at times heart wrenching but also.a fantastic read. Couldn't wait.to start the second book.in this series. The friends that were family, the lost sister and their undying love of Emma and Carter was what made this story softer than just the violence and killing. Loved it.

Things were going well for Carter and Emma but someone from Carter's past is back and Carter is sucked back into the mob life. This time, they come after Emma and she's not so weak anymore. I loved the story, loved the loyalty of friends and most of all, I loved the commitment and devotion Carter and Emma have for each other.

Carter and Emma are trying to make a life tighter. But people have other plans and keeps pulling people him back into the mix. As usually Carter is a not take pioneers when it comes to Emma. He will kill whoever tries to take her away. I love this series and I love Carter Reed one sexy bad ass man. I love Tijan writing.

I love everything Tijan writes. CR2 felt different from some of her other books. This one had a lot more action and less romance. I really enjoyed it and read it very quickly since i was so immersed in the story I was sad when it ended. Really enjoyed some new characters and getting some answers about Emma's past

Welcome back Carter!!! I was so damn happy when I found out Tijan was writing a second book for Carter Reed. I loved every suspenseful minute of it & I wish there was more. He is so damn intense & I love the passion he holds for Emma. There were so many secrets that was revealed. Great way to do a follow up Tijan.

This was a great continuation / soft conclusion for Emma and Carter.
Some scenes kind of jumped like they may have been rushed or the authors mind was running and running and trying to keep up, but all in all still a great read.
I smell a novella somewhere down the road though!

I thought the Carter Reed books were awesome!!! I wish there would or been a third book to this story. What a action filled story. What a fabulous author you are! I am and will continue to follow and read all your books. ??? You Rock! Thank you.

Tijan has created another wonderful masterpiece! I loved the suspense in this book. It will have you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire book. The new characters are awesome and you fall in love with the old ones all over again. I highly recommend it to every book lover

Loved this book !!! Tijan's Carter Reed 2 is awesome the story line is great...Emma becomes stronger and Carter softer as they fall further in love. But when mob tries to come between them watch out...I love the author and await more of her book...she is automatic purchase for me.

I love tijan just saying! This second book really blew me away there was lots of twists and crazyness lol the thing I always love is how they stay together and fight strong threw everything I always look for that in a book! A really good follow up of the first book and I love carter!

Finally, part 2 of this phenomenal book. I love Carter Reed and all his badness. While I loved this book, I just wish it focused on Carter more, after all he is the reason we all wanted the second book. Great writing and good plot. Would LOVE his POV someday!!!! 4.5 stars

She did it again. This book Is phenomenal, I couldn't put it down. I love Carter even more than before. Tijan just has a way of just making you fall in love with her characters and leave you begging for more. Gosh I hope there will more of Carter and Emma. MUST READ FOR ME.

I loved the first Carter Reed and though I wanted to read more I wasn't sure if the sequel would be as good. This book however surpassed all expectations with new twists that I didn't see coming. Excellent job Tijan you have created another masterpiece.

Wow! What a ride! I really liked Carter Reed but this continuation is an insane ride! I am exhausted. Carter is amazing. Hot, sexy and deadly. Emma is sweet and strong and then fearless. Loved the twists and turns. Really great ending! I'm exhausted.

I absolutely love this author. Nothing like a hot mafia man on a mission to protect the woman he loves. A war has begun and carter will stop at nothing to protect Emma. While Emma will stop at nothing to protect carter. Will their love survive this war?
