The first chapters were ver slow and I almost stopped reading the book. But the plot thickened and I had to continue to read it to determine how it would end.The rest of the book was worth the patience.

Having encounter a storm in your life the only one who can and will safely see you through is Almighty God. That what the main characters displayed. Even its not always easy because doubt and other obstacles get in the way.

The Icecutter 's Daughter is a book that proves that you don't have to be a raving beauty. It shows that a kind heart, hard work and a gentle soul will win out. The characters are believable and the story holds your interest.

My standards are not so-very-high when it comes to romance novels - all I ask is that I get caught up in the story and I want it to work out well, and for the characters to be happy - and Tracy Peterson accomplished that with accolades.
Good job, nice details - would have liked a smidgen more about the horses, because I wanted them to be happy too.

Tracie Peterson is a great writer, her stories always include God in the daily lives of her characters. Her books never fail to entertain and pull me into the story. I am always bummed when the book comes to the end.

Tracie has an easy read style of writing. The depiction of rural life and hard work is refreshing, especially since it includes strong faith. I'm almost 66 and read many genres, but this was a delight to read.

I enjoyed his book very much. It is well-written with a good plot. Her characters were well developed. I like the way both Rurik and Merrill lived their faith, and how their beliefs just naturally guided their lives each day. I loved the way Merill's father guided his children, and the respect they had for him.

The Icecutter's Daughter had a very good story line. Somewhat predictable but well done.
I enjoyed reading this book. It was an enjoyable and relaxing read.

I love stories about the eighteen hundreds. Stories of women having to work hard on farms or ranches , doing without the things that make life easier than today. Stories of love of God first, then family.keep up the good work.

This book, "The Icecutter's Daughter" was recommended to me by my daughter. I loved reading it so much! There are many stories woven into one great love story. I'm sure you will enjoy reading it as much as I did. I wish there was a sequel to it.

Tracie Peterson is one of my favorite authors. I keep her books and read them again a few years later. This was a truly wonderful story. Both the heroine and the hero are characters you will love. And there's enough intrigue to keep you reading to the end, unable to stop until the difficulties the hero faces are resolved.
