Andrews and Wilson are writing an exciting and informative series about Tier One SEALs. I have read the first three in the series and am impressed with the quality of their writing, the dramatic tension of the plot, the character development, and their knowledge of geopolitics. Crusader One takes place almost entirely in Israel and Iran and has more of a surprise ending than the first books in the series. However, just like the first two books of Tier One, Crusader helps a reader understand the sacrifices our SEALs make in order to protect the country.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality and believability of all 3 of the books in this series. There was the usual, and necessary, but short-lived slow-moving parts in book one, so as to develop the characters properly, but from then on it was non-stop page turning action throughout all 3 books. Energetic and cohesive throughout all 3 books. I can't find book 4, is it in the works? Book 3 ended like there's going to be more, and I hope there is. The continuous "5.11" tactical gear pitches not-withstanding (do you guys own stock in this company??) , I very highly recommend these books. If you're a military novel enthusiast, you'll devour these well-written books. God bless America and her dedicated fighting men and women!!

Crusader One

4 Stars

By Andrews & Williams

Story sucks you in.

Usually spy stories with elite soldiers are written to formals. Not so with Crusader One. The story line features political espionage along with feverish twists and turns - a couple of which were unexpected.

American / Israeli Spy Story, featuring former Navy SEAL and Tier One operator John Dempsey from answering the call of duty—including a mission with the highest stakes he’s ever faced.

As usual in these stories the future of the world rests upon the shoulders of one man.

A well written, if not believable story.

Can there be any such thing as too much action? Nah!.. great series great authors.
I was attended a grand opening of a a 5:11 store a few days ago. They said there was going to be a author book signing going on at the same time, I paid no attention. Walked around the store saw a guy signing books , I looked at the book and noticed it was a Tier One book. Couldn't believe it was an author of Tier One. Lmbo.. I was in! spoke with him about the series. It's awesome. Ben Coes type great series

Just finished Crusader One, the third in this series, and I'm exhausted! Each book in this series grabs your attention from page one and doesn't let go. The characters are in turn complex and singularly minded and you will find yourself pulling for them and holding your breath as you turn pages to see if they get out of their latest battle. I think I have to go read a romance novel and let my brain and heart rate take a break.

An incredable ride. Fasten your seat belt when you start this book. A black ops team joins with an Israelie team and the fight begins. Sometimes at odds but they get the job done. This is an amazing thriller. So much going on and lots of curve balls. I loved every bit of it. This is the kind of action the could really happen. Very much in the present. Way to go guys. Keep it up.

Fast story, very good dialogue and characters in this Tier One Thriller Book. Love the camaraderie amongst the men and ladies. The stories are current and new to a lot of us who did not serve in the military except maybe thru our husband's, brothers, sons or fathers. I know I am living vicariously thru these stories and I am loving them. Thanks, Brian Andrews, you've written some real good stories.

Another Tier One black ops storyline with the Ember team set in the Middle East. The principal characters, friend and foe, remain the same as the antagonists face off. Some wounds are closed and personnel adjustments take place. There is fast paced action, political intrigue, betrayal, romance and a surprise ending that speaks to a follow-on storyline.

I finished all 3 books without reviewing them. Not sure why. Each book was good and fun to read, each was better than the last. Not books for those against violence in books.

Not sure if story is complete, hope not. I enjoyed these.

This book does not disappoint, action and excellent plot are amazing. You can't put the book down. The Voice narrator does a fabulous job of voices. He sounds just like my Israeli friends when he does the Israeli voices.

Non stop action. But more significantly, the book depicts a scenario that is highly realistic for Israel and America. The fact that Iran has not carried out its overt threats is true tribute to the day to day work and dedication of the many Israelis and Americans in the intelligence and armed forces of both countries.
