Guide to Colorado Backroads & 4-Wheel-Drive Trails

This is a great book. Very good descriptions of the trails with lots of pictures. I live in Colorado and have for many years. I have already been on some of these trails and the book provides a very realistic description of the trails. I would recommend it to anyone.

Every hard core Jeeper in Colorado uses this book. I buy them for folks that are new to the Jeeping community. Excellent descriptions and pictures. A must have if you are going to venture into the backcountry in Colorado. .

I was kind of skeptical when ordering the book, however, after receiving it, it will be carried in my Jeep while I'm in Colorado. These books are just what the Off-Roader needs and should have at their disposal.

We have got this book from the library several times and it is so helpful we decided to make the purchase this time. It is excellent because it has trails all over the state, not just in one region which is largely what made us finally purchase it. It is detailed and very accurate. A must for any Colorado 4-wheeling enthusiast!!

This book is really fabulous. We had an older edition of a trail book that was in black and white and not easy to read. This book is spiral bound which is a bonus because when you're on the road and trying to refer to the guide it's bothersome to have to use a book mark and keep opening the book to your page. This way you just open the book to the page needed and leave it open. It has turn by turn directions with mileage from start to finish on every trail. Trail difficulty is clearly rated with lots of great color photos of landmarks, sites of interest, things you might find along the way and vehicles navigating rocks, rivers, tree roots, etc. It has it all and we can't wait to get out and use it this weekend on our camping trip. Buy it, it's worth the price if you love 4 wheeling.

Had the time of my "rock crawling" life. This book not only helps you plan your day, it also previews the sights and difficulty of the trail. Plenty of trails available for everyone regardless of your experience and the modifications to your equipment.

Also is a good book to read during the winter as we wait for the next trip.

You won't be disappointed.
