Personally, I have been WAITING for Sahara's book. Other previous books in the Body Armor series just weren't my favorite. They weren't bad by any means. They just didn't live up to what I loved about these characters in the Ultimate series. Sahara Silver was a special character in this series for me and she didn't let me down!

Sahara Silver is the boss of Body Armor Bodyguard Agency. She inherited it when her brother went missing and is presumed dead. Sahara believes her brother is out there somewhere and won't stop looking for him. Keeping her brother's business around for him when he returns is the most important thing to Sahara. She hires nothing but the best, and she wants Brand Berry... bad. But Brand doesn't want to work for Sahara, he just wants her. But can the two learn that mixing business with pleasure isn't a bad thing? And what happens when Sahara's brothers disappearance comes back to haunt her?

This is book #4, in the Body Armor series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order.

Sahara wants to hire Brand. She has made no secret in her pursuit. What she may have forgotten to tell herself, however, was how attracted to him she was. She never actually gets involved with those she works with. So how to work this out?

Brand has turned Sahara down repeatedly. Now, he has a plan that he thinks will work to get them together. Only he forgot to factor in the Sahara brand of bossy. She is a take charge woman - even when you do not work for her.

This book was such a joy to read. You feel the heat rising right off the bat in the very first chapter. This book truly lives up to its name as the story - and the romance - heats up at a quickening pace. True to the series, there is a story that will keep your heart pounding, (mine did) and take you to the very end with every spark.

This is without a doubt my favorite book in this series. Brand and Sahara smolder together. Both are dominant in their own right and also stubborn as hell. I loved Sahara since this series first started. The woman is sassy classy and just a force to be reckoned with. Yet She is also caring and kind and giving. She is the total package without a doubt. I loved her resilience and her faith in all things. The way she handles herself in a male dominant career. But I also loved how she let her vulnerability show. Again total package.
Brand. what can I say about Brand. He is Sahara's match in every way. He is stubborn as well and I love how he lets Sahara be herself without wanting to change her. He is strong in his masculinity in that he is not intimidated by a strong woman. I also felt bad for him a time or two with regards to how he grew up.
This was a great end to a fabulous series. I have enjoyed every character and each individual story. I am going to miss the folks from Body Armor for sure.

The book that I have been waiting for...Sahara and Brand. Sahara appears to always have it all and is put together perfectly. As the boss at Body Armor she needs to be in control and on her toes all the time, but when it comes to Brand we finally see even more facets to the Sahara we have grown to love throughout this series.

Though still my agreeing to be a bodyguard, Brand is (happily) thrown into the job when Sahara is kidnapped and in danger thanks to drama from the disappearance of her brother. As always, the men of Body Armor are protective and take care of their own, but when Brand decides Sahara is his responsibility no one is getting between them. Lori Foster has done a phenomenal job of taking two strong, intelligent characters and showing how human they really are without sacrificing one bit of their take charge attitudes we love. This is a series I am sorry to see end but love how everything has come together for the men of Body Armor and the women who love them!

Just when I am in need of a good book fix, Lori Foster releases Fast Burn, the conclusion to her Body Armor series. I can count on her to grab me from page one and this one is no exception. Foster keeps a steady pace, mixing action, romance, and familiar faces with an ease that keeps me turning the pages.
Foster creates unique characters, Sahara Silver being a prime example. She exudes confidence and vulnerability, balancing the roles of boss, lover, and little sister. She is a fully developed complex character. I couldn’t help but like the fashion diva who doubles as a bad a@#.
Brand holds his own, because honestly. I am a capable and independent woman. I also like a man who is not afraid to be a man. And an alpha male who respects women - better yet likes women, who is capable feeling and dealing with deep emotions? Yes, please.
I am sorry to see the series wind down, but - bring on the next series.

This is the last in The Body Armor series and it’s my favorite. I’m not sure what it was about Brand and Sahara that I liked so well. Maybe it’s because even though Sahara comes across as tough and brash, she’s really a softie underneath when it comes to her employees and people that she loves. I liked that Brand is the type of man who doesn’t have a problem with a woman who can be tough and handle herself in a professional and/or dangerous situation but he definitely isn’t a wimp. He does like to be in charge and Sahara doesn’t seem to mind that during their personal and private moments. There was some danger, intrigue, and hot moments all throughout the book. It was nice to see how Miles, Justice, and Leese handled all of the precarious situations that they found their boss in. It, also, takes quite a skill to have a villain be likeable, which Ms. Foster does in this story. You don ‘t have to have read the previous Body Armor books to enjoy Fast Burn, but I would recommend them all.

The final book in the Body Armor series Fast Burn lived up to its title. Sahara and Brand have been dancing around each other through the series. Sahara owner of Body Armor Bodyguards, has signed up three of Brand’s fellow MMA fighters, and she wants to sign Brand for more than a bodyguard. Brand is resisting because he wants Sahara, and he wants to be more than an employee to her.

It was fun to see this strong willed couple make their way down a road filled with action, hot scenes, kidnappings, continuing the hunt for Sahara’s missing brother, while falling in love. With the help of the other couples in the series how can you not go along for the ride? Another super awesome read by one of my most fave authors.

Another great book by Lori Foster. The latest in the Body Armor series is a great read. Sahara wants Brand to come join her bodyguard team. Who wouldn't want the hunky MMA star to protect them? Brand still has some fighting to do, and while he finds Sahara tempting, he has no plans to let her be his boss. When Sahara finds herself kidnapped due to money her assumed dead brother Scott owes to some unsavory guys, she calls on Brand as she knows none of her brothers associates know who he is. Brand jumps into action and makes it his mission to not only rescue Sahara, but to keep her safe until all those involved are caught. Will their time spent together result in love? Will their differences be too much for them to over come?

I have yet to read a Lori Foster book that disappoints and Fast Burn in no exception. The Body Armor series is a great read for any romance lover. I was given an ARC for an honest review.

This book totally earned 5 stars! I have to start by saying that I have read practically every book LF has written. Every book is unique with strong characters and an awesome story.

I loved that both Brand and Sahara are strong personalities so it was fun watching them find their way together. Sahara is so independent, smart and determined. It's part of her appeal. She also has a side she doesn't show often and that makes her likable. Brand is a hot, kick butt fighter who likes the strong woman Sahara is. Watching them find their balance while facing danger makes this story really flow.

I love that we see more of Leese, Justice, Miles, Cat, Maxie and Fallon. I am sad that this series is now complete but it ended just right. Plus, I will enjoy this series when I do a reread. There is just something that makes Lore Foster's books comfort reads.

Yay, we finally get Sahara's story!! She's a take-charge, take-no-prisoners sort of woman, and it shows. She's been my favorite secondary character throughout the whole series, and I fell in love with her even more during her own story. And considering how strong of a personality she has, I knew she'd need an equally strong man to match her.. and Brand is so very much that man. I can't believe this is the final book in the Body Armor series, but way to end things with a bang!

I think this might be my favorite of the series, but.. I still love, love, love Justice. So maybe this is a very close second. This story is so dynamic - plenty of suspense, plenty of hot scenes, and it's a roller coaster of a read. I can't recommend Fast Burn highly enough, or this author highly enough! Lori Foster is the queen of contemporary romance, and she needs to be on your to-read list.. And Fast Burn should move right to the top!

Foster has given us Sahara Silver, who has stepped up and run the agency her brother began when he disappeared. Convinced that he’s alive, she will move heaven and hell to find him. Brand Berry is a MMA fighter that Sarah’s has been trying to recruit for the agency, but he is elusive, until Silver is kidnapped, then he is the one to search for and find her. From beginning to end Foster keeps you on edge, in this fast paced adventure. The only issue I had with this book is that it ended! Foster brings her characters to life. They aren’t perfect by any means, but they are perfect for her stories! Great book, great adventure, and a wonderful book to disappear into!

Really?! First, let me say I was a little biased when I started this series. My first romantic series was Lori Foster's Buckhorn series and it became the gold standard that I judged all my other books read by, I mean I re-read them so many times I could almost recite certain parts if not most of some. I've collected and read many different authors and if they aren't writing in the genre I'm used to or prefer sometimes it makes it harder for me to enjoy them.
I can honestly say that Lori Foster's not one of them. I LOVE all of her books and how you feel like you know the characters and through other books are introduced to more great stories to come. I'm sorry that the Body Armor series is ending, but am more than confident that Lori will. have an equally great series for us all to enjoy soon! Brand and Sahara's story was a great ending and of course a wonderful love story.

I am a fan of all of Lori Foster's books. I read this book in 4 hours. I could not put Fat Burn down once I started reading it. Lori had me from the first chapter to the last chapter, I waited patiently for Fast Burn to be released since it was the last book in the Body Armor series. This series is great because it also had characters from Lori's The Ultimate Fighter series in two of the books. Lori always manages to have characters come into the new series from an old series with no problems to the main story line. I have never been disappointed in any of :Lori Foster's books.

She is tough as nails, but has a very tender part of her personality. She wants Brand badly to work for Body Armor. However, she also just plain wants him. Brand is a wonderful hero for her. He is also an alpha personality (nobody writes alpha males like Lori does!) And he wants Sahara but he is not yet ready to leave MMA yet. Brand and Sahara sparks fireworks anytime they are in the same room with each other. They also have some seriously funny banter between them.

Then Sahara needs protection and although Brand is not an employee, he is not about to set back and not do anything to find her and then lead the protection. Of course, we also see the rest of the bodyguards from this series jump in to do their job, but Brand will not be deterred. Ms. Foster also ties up all the loose ends surrounding Sahara's dead brother and how that all plays into the suspense portion of the plotline.

As always, Ms. Foster's writing is top-notch and the dialogue believable. I will miss these characters (as I do all her characters in her series). That is probably why I do alot of re-reads of her books--including this one.

I have been waiting for more details on Sahara and Brand, both are very mysterious. You saw sparks between them in previous books but in a very subtle way.

I loved the crazy turn of events and twists this book brought. You hoped it would turn out one way but it everything was unexpected.

As far as the romance, it was fiery and spicy and lived up to what I imagined. Lori Foster knows how to deliver heat and passion in the very best way.

The mystery was also exciting. I couldn't wait to turn the page and figure out what was happening next. I also loved seeing the group get together and hang out. Lori is great at reuniting the families in her books. It is always such fun to see them unite and no one does this better than Lori in her series.

Grab this book and pick up the others if you haven't had a chance to... you wont be able to put it down :)

Brand is one tough cookie resisting Sahara's every attempt to bring him on to the team of bodyguards she has worked so hard to build. Sahara is strong, beautiful, opinionated, and savvy. She knows what she wants and goes after it, full steam ahead, no detours. She wants Brand but she also she wants him to work for her. Which one does she want more since he doesn't mix business with pleasure.

These two have serious chemistry together no question about it. Who will give in first? When Sahara is threatened Brand will do everything that he can to keep her safe, he doesn't work for her but that doesn't matter as he sees her as his.

Loved getting to see the other couples from the series. Seeing the women with Sahara and how she reacted to them since she always has to have a certain attitude since she's around men all the time and a boss.

I literally couldn't put this book down, I needed to know what happened next. Loved this series!

This is the story I've been waiting for. Throughout the series we've gotten to know Sahara as the take charge, strong willed boss of Body Armor. Then there's Brand, MMA fighter, that Sahara wants to work for her but also just wants him. Although that feeling is mutual, they both like to be in control and don't want to give in. Then Sahara is kidnapped and Brand is playing the hero and not leaving her side. The chemistry between them is off the charts and sizzles the pages.

This story has lots of kickass action, suspense, sizzling romance and even lighthearted humorous moments. The disappearance of her brother, who is presumed dead, was always in the backstory of the previous books and is resolved in this book. A must read of the series.

Brand and Sahara have great chemistry and work well together both a the office and in the bedroom. She's used to being the boss and giving orders, but Brand gives her the opportunity to relinquish control when not at work. I loved that the mystery surrounding her brother's disappearance is finally solved. There was enough suspense to keep my hooked, but it did not steal the spotlight from the romance developing between Brand and Sahara. It was also great to see couples from the previous books. I only read the first 2 books in the series before I read this one, so I think it could stand on its own.

As they figure out what’s going on, they also can’t keep their hands off each other.
This is my absolute favorite book in a long time and honestly I’ve rad some good ones lately. It’s sexy, funny, action packed, and full of hunky men. I could not stop reading it. I loved Sahara, she strong, intelligent, beautiful and independent. Brand is sexy, cave manish, and a protector. It felt like I was right there with them.

I don't know why this keeps happening to me, especially given the number of books I read, but I am once again late to the party.    I suspect that I may have missed out.

But let me deal with the one book in the series that I have read.

Brand and Sahara.  Hmm.   Well, she is confident almost to the point of being unlikeable.  You note that I say almost.  Because the author keeps her on the right side of that line by giving insights into her psyche.

Same with Brand.  The dual POV approach to the storytelling works well to soften their edges and make the story work.

Good chemistry, a decent plot, a cogent threat and pacing that ensures that the story never bogs down.  Well worth a read.

This series of books has been adventurous and steamy. At first its the typical boss/employee relationship. But Brand has steamier intention for his relationship with Sahara. The past books shows the relationship develop. Whereas you finally see what will happen with these two in this book. You get a first hand look at the strong bond that has developed and is coming to life. The book shows adventure, mystery, and a steamy love connection all in one. I also like how in this series of books that Sahara is a strong woman that could take care of herself. The steamy chemistry with these two will explode on the pages. Lori Foster did it again with another cant stop reading book.
I hope everyone enjoys this steamy book as much as I did.

I've been eagerly awaiting Brand and Sahara's story. It lived up to my expectations. What I really loved about this book is how strong of a character Sahara is. She has a ton of guts and it made my heart happy to see how protective Brand is of her. She needs a guy like him in her corner. Along with the other guys of Body Armor they have her back like she's really never had before. The suspense elements in this one had me flipping the pages to see where this story was going to go. A few twists that had me on the edge of my seat. All the characters from the previous books pop up in this one especially since the guys work for her. Brand and Sahara are perfect for one another because they like each for who they are. It's really beautiful. I was so happy with this book and I can't recommend it enough.

I adored Sahara’s bossy nature and take no prisoners attitude and got a kick out of how easily she lulled people into underestimating her! Brand was just as favorable with his protective and very bossy mind set, so I was surprised how far he’d compromise with Sahara on a variety of matters. The mystery behind Sahara’s brother Scott and his disappearance gave a lively edge to the story. It also helped quicken relations between our stalwart H/h with frustrating and sometimes highly amusing results. I never doubted these two would cause an inferno when they finally gave in, yet even I wasn’t expecting the hotness! These two clashed on so many things, yet I never doubted how perfect they were for each other! Overall, this was a great read and Foster did a brilliant job tying up plot lines!

The back and forth..will he? won't he? Two strong minded people falling for each other. Neither makes it easy for the other, which is why they are perfect together. The intrigue surrounding the disappearance of Scott, who is after Sahara and why? Will all these questions be answered? You bet they will. Thrown in will be danger, sizzling hot love scenes, "awww" moments, tense moments that keep you on the edge of your seat and a few "kick his tush" moments which I personally enjoyed VERY much!
Another great story woven for us by Lori that leaves us asking for more, more, more!
A MUST read if you want to be swept into a story that will leave you very satisfied with what happens between the pages.

I was so excited to read Sahara and Brands story and this book did not disappoint. I was a little confused when Sahara was kidnaped but I love how resourceful she was and how she didn’t wait for one of her employees or Brand to rescue her. I have always enjoyed Sahara in the other books and she was just as fabulous in this book. I was never sure if I liked Brand and I thought he was okay. I like how protective he is over Sahara and how he trusted her about her brother.

Overall, I really liked this story and thought it was a great addition to the series. This book can be read as a stand-a-lone book but will be much better if read as part of the series.

Fast Burn by Lori Foster is the Fourth book in the Body Armor series. This is the story of Brand Berry and Sahara Silver. I haven't yet read the previous books in this series, so for me it was a standalone book.
Sahara is the boss at the Body Armor Bodyguard Agency after her brother is missing an presumed that he has died. Sahara has been trying to get Brand to join her agency but he is more interested in her and doesn't mix pleasure with business. But Shara is more into the business but when she is kidnapped by people who are looking for her brother... Brand steps up to the plate.
This was a really exciting hot read that was hard to put down!

I got the ARC of this book as part of Lori Foster's review team. This is the last book in the Bodyguard series and the best in my opinion.
Sarah and Brand have been dancing around since the last 2 books . I loved the fact that Ms Foster kept Sarah as the strong and independent woman she was portrayed in the whole series . To often when the woman gets her own book she becomes this helpless person who needs help.
Not sure how I felt about Ross , he was portrayed as gray does that mean we will get a back story on him sometime in the future or is it a way of saying that people who do bad things are not all bad.
The storyline of the book was amazing, it closed the series very well , involved all the characters from the series but didn't take away from the main characters or their developing relationship

Fast Burn was another great addition to the Body Armor series. The story is captivating from beginning to end , Lori Foster has the ability to write books that are among the best out there. Sierra is relentless in her pursuit to get Brand to sign up with the Body Armor agency but he has other ideas in mind. He wants her body and soul and doesn't want to be her employee. When Sierra's life is put in danger by being kidnapped, Brand stops at nothing to rescue her. Will Brand finally give in and join the Body Armor agency, I guess you will have to read it to find out. Fast Burn is part of the Body Armor series, and I really don't think they stand alone, or should be read out of order. The full character set is intertwined throughout the books, and some scenes might be spoiled. Fast Burn is a little uneven and the ending seemed rushed to me. As always, Lori Foster's dialogue is superb, and the balance between action, passion and story is excellent. The character portraits are strong, and the story is entertaining, The rushed ending made me rank it a as the lowest in the series thus far, but I'm still a fan, and looking forward to the next book.

I've been waiting for Brand and Sahara's story and it definitely didn't disappoint. The chemistry between these two has been there from the start of the Body Armor series and,boy, do the sparks fly in the telling of their story! Lori Foster sure knows how to write to develop characters that leap off the page and insist that you care about them and what happens to them and the relationship that grows between them. And she accomplishes that while also including action, friendship, caring and compassion. You just want to be a part of everything going on. And I love knowing that with all the action, I'm still going to get my happy ending.ved

Fast Burn is...Fast Burn...and slow burn...and hot burn! This story is so hot. Sahara is a likeable character who is put together and very capable of taking care of herself. Brand Berry is the ultra alpha male who is the perfect match for Sahara. I loved this story and how Sahara never gives up on finding her brother. The others who make up the Body Armor Series are also featured and it great to see them and their significant others. Characters that make the series worth reading! I give this book 5 stars for steamy-ness, chemistry and excitement.

This is the book that everyone has been waiting for. This is the story of Sahara and Brand. These two characters were a joy to read because they are both completely stubborn. You will fall in love with Sahara and Brand and how their relationship progresses through the book! In this book you also find out what happened to her brother Scott. The whole time you are trying to figure out what happened to her brother almost two years ago and how a person who is overly infatuated with Sahara worked for her brother. Sahara is such a strong female who never gives up even while she is kidnapped and she ends up making a weapon after she took apart a heater. I was so excited about this book, I was dying to see what would happen between Brand and Sahara. Lori Foster kept dropping hints in the books before (books 1-3 in the series) that there was chemistry between these two, and I was definitely not let down in this book. These two make such a cute couple and it was so much fun to see them learn more about each other and become a couple. Also, I am so glad that we finally learn what happened to Sahara's brother. Brand and Sahara!!!!! What a story!!!! The previous stories has been leading up to them and this book doesn’t disappoint. It takes off right from the start with Sahara getting kidnapped. It only gets more interesting and chaotic as it goes along. You have a story that has been on going and an alpha male/female bantering back and forth together with chemistry that is off the charts. These two heat it up as they struggle to find what role they play in each others lives. This book has it all - kidnapping, daring rescues, arguing, love, loyalty, friendships and its hot, hot, hot...The story line of Sahara missing brother makes it a great book to end the Body Armor series. This can be read as a standalone.

Lori Foster saved the best for last. The final installment of the Body Armor series is a fantastic read!! Totally loved watching Sahara learn to lean on, and give a little control to Brand. Their love story was funny, moving and HOT!! I have love each stand alone in this series but this maybe my favorite HEA. Definitely recommend reading this and all the Body Armor books.

As a mystery unravels, they grow much closer.

I loved the ups and downs of the story! I loved seeing someone who loves being the boss give in to letting someone else lead. Can't wait to see what Ms. Foster has up her sleeve for the next set of books.

I have been looking forward to Brand and Sahara’s story for a long time and it was definitely worth the wait! It has all you need for a great romance- sexy men, strong, female lead, great chemistry and dangerous situations. Fast Burn is the last in the Body Armor series by Lori Foster but can be read as a stand-along. I am very sorry to see this series come to an end. If you have not read this series, I highly recommend that you pick them all up today. You will not be disappointed!

I highly recommend the book Fast Burn by Lori Foster. It is the fourth book in the Body Armor series, but can be read as a standalone book. This is the story of Brand Berry and Sahara Silver. The chemistry between these two is HOT HOT HOT!

The main character Sahara Silver owns a bodyguard agency called Body Armor staffed by Ex-MMA fighters. She has wanted Brand Berry to join her agency and continues to harrass him about it. Brand Berry is an MMA fighter who is on the fence about ending his MMA career and joining Body Armor. Brand doesn’t want to join Body Armor because he is interested in Sahara and does not think an employer employee relationship is the best option for them.

Sahara is kidnapped and Brand helps organize her rescue. But tough as nails Sahara didnt’ need rescuing and Brand doesn’t know how to handle this. He wanted to save her, but she’s so competent that he feels she doesn’t need him.

This book had it all, love, romance, intrigue, mystery. I loved it and can’t wait to read more by this author.

I am so glad to finally get Sahara's story. The whole thing between Sahara and Brand through the other books and the mystery of her brother. The chemistry between them is so strong. Sahara is so used to being in charge and so is Brand. She wants him to work for her and he won't because he wants more than a business relationship. After Sahara is kidnapped, all bets are off. Brand will be by Sahara's side no matter what. It will be a battle of wills when Brand tries to protect her. But, they come to an agreement and the sparks fly.

Fast Burn by Lori Foster is a well written and entertaining read.
The storyline held my interest all throughout the book, it was well paced, enough drama and suspense to keep you turning the pages and I loved watching Brand and Sahara come together.
These two made me laugh and they made me swoon, they had amazing chemistry and I loved how they just got each other.

Fast Burn is a standalone in the Body Armor series by Lori Foster. While has characters and reference to the other books it holds it's own. Brand and Sahara are perfect for each other. Brand gives her not only the shoulder to lean on, but the space to maintain her sense of self.

We’re already going to be late getting to the party. I don’t want you showing up shirtless.” Incredulous, Brand stared at her." I enjoyed the heck out of this book, I loved Sahara the girl drove Brand crazy.

Sahara’s been trying to get Brand to join Body Armor for a while but also is very attracted to him on a personal level. It was fun to see how the interactions between them progressed throughout the book. The question became if they could keep from constantly butting heads since they were both confident individuals and have take-charge personalities. I loved how Sahara dealt with Brand’s biological mother – very witty. We also find out the reason why Sahara’s brother Scott died/disappeared.

Fast Burn was definitely a favorite and the most anticipated book of the series. Though this book can be read as a stand alone, it was awesome to experience third party glimpses of the sizzle and pop between Brand and Sahara in the previous books in this series to build the anticipation of the book.

The chemistry between Brand and Sahara eminates off the pages through the entire book making it a definite page-turner, and one that's difficult to put down once started. With Sahara's take-charge additude, and Brand's stubborn ways, the heat & sizzle is palpable between these two in and out of the bedroom.

On a side note, though many may disagree, I had a soft spot for the antagonist (Ross Moran) in the story. To me, even though he was considered the bad guy in this book, I feel like he had depth, and could have a separate book all on his own where he could be the White Knight too...

Overall, this was a book that will be read again and again because of the dynamic characters... Awesome read!

Sahara and Brand made a great couple, both bossy and stubborn and needing to control every situation. Maybe that sounds bad, but it made for entertaining reading. Who is the kidnapper and why? Sahara finds herself in trouble, making for an action packed read right from the start. Brand has been trying to resist Sahara's advances and now we FINALLY get to read about just how great they are together... their pent up chemistry does not disappoint!!! "Fast Burn" is the perfect balance of action and suspense with enough steamy romance to make for an addicting page turner. Sahara brings her usual sass, making me laugh out loud at times and receive strange looks from those around me at times... but, Hey, that's how you know it's a great book, right?!? This book was a great finale for the series but could easily be read as a stand alone as well.

For fans of the series, you will learn the answers to what happened to Sahara's brother, Scott!! This was the perfect ending for the series and definitely worth the wait. I'm just sad to see the series end. I loved these characters. *I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.*

Love the Body Armor series! I was so excited to read about Sahara and Brand coming together as a couple. Between their stubborn and controlling natures it was fun to watch the relationship develop. But she can't get the MMA fighter Brand to work for her and doesn't like taking no for an answer. Brand has other ideas for Sahara and the two of them enjoy deciding who's the boss where and when. This book is a wonderful addition to the Body Armor series, packed with passion, romance, action, suspense, twists and turns, MMA fighters, entertaining characters, and more. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, MMA, and series.

The main character, Sahara, is the beautiful and successful owner of an elite bodyguard agency. She wants to recruit Brand to her agency, but he is more interested in a personal relationship with her. Their attraction is mutual. When her life is in danger, he doesn’t hesitate to be her hero and do whatever it takes to keep her safe. Lots of surprises at the end. It’s a great series.

Brand and Sahara's story is in a series. It is definitely a stand alone read. The elite Security series is well worth the time to read. She's his boss, he's her employee (at least she wants him to be). She needs him in more ways than one. Great Read!!!

Fast Burn is the fourth and final book in the Body Armor series. This can be read as a standalone but is more enjoyable if you read the previous books. I loved Sahara and Brands story. This was my favorite book in the series without a doubt. Fast Burn had the perfect balance of romance, suspense and action.

Whew are the main characters in Fast Burn hot! It just goes to show that it’s those tall, dark and quiet guys you have to look out for and boy! does Brand fit the bill. And I want to be Sahara when I grow up! She’s so cool and sexy and smart that even when she’s completely freaked out on the inside, she’s totally in control on the outside. Brand and Sahara, the head of Body Armor, have a ton of excitement as they fend off bad guys trying to kidnap Sahara and look for her brother who everyone thinks is dead, while hot and sexy moments break up that action with a different kind. Great read!

I won an arc. Lori did a phenomenal job with ending this series with this couple! This is a great story with all kinds of surprises. You can read this as a standalone or read all 4 in the series but I would definitely recommend Fast Burn and the other 3 in the series!

Amazing, can't put it down, with action and chemistry from the very beginning! Brand and Sahara fight the chemistry between them from the very beginning. Sahara is an independent business woman and seems to always get what she wants. Brand, however, isn't into giving Sahara what she wants. Add in the issue of Sahara's brother and the chemistry takes on a whole new level. This is an action-packed book that is suspenseful until the end. Another fabulous book by Lori Foster! Part of the Body Armor series, but can definitely be read as a standalone book.

What a dynamic character - Brand Berry! He seems so real and could have been someone who lived in my small town growing up. Sahara never gave up and she was right about both of the men in her life. Loved it and love the series.

It was so good to catch up with all the gang in this last book of this series. So glad to get to know Brand more...He just makes me want to fan myself. This author never disappoints, such an easy, well paced read.
Sahara and Brand made a great couple, both bossy and stubborn and needing to control every situation. Maybe that sounds bad, but it made for entertaining reading. Who is the kidnapper and why? Sahara is in possible danger and Brand is determined to save her. She's a warrior herself though and is not sitting back waiting. I enjoyed the witty banter, the sexual tension and mystery behind the scenes. Great story.

Loved the Body Armor series, this one has Sahara a successful business woman with a savy presence, trying to hire MMA fighter for her body guard business. Brand makes it perfectly clear she's the boss in her business and not his boss!! Made for some interesting interactions throughout the book❤❤??

Lori Foster has done an amazing job with the Body Armor series. Sahara and Brand are my second favorite characters. Her brothers disappearance mystery has added some mystery and demension to their story. I absolutely love how Lori keeps the previously inteoduced characters in every book. If you haven’t read these yet do yourself a favor and do it!

Fast Burn is book 4 in the Body Armor series, it's the final book and it was easy to read and keep up even though I hadn't read any of the previous books. We were given information from the last few books but it didn't feel like info dumping. As each book is centred around a new relationship they can be read on their own. You get a good feel for the previous characters and how they all fit together.
Brand and Sahara have a whole heap of chemistry and I like that Sahara is a determined, savvy business woman. They both have to compromise as they find their way through the new terrain.
It is a typical romance in that it has the alpha male type who is super over protective and somewhat jealous and a woman who is kidnapped and rape is used as a threat against her. I did like that the author had Sahara point out how shit that is, that it's never ok to violate a person that way, even if it was only ever a threat. But I'll be honest I'm really sick of that trope. Can we come up with a new plot line.
At about the same time as I was reading this I watched a comedy special on Netflix, and the comedian said if a guy keeps telling you he's an alpha male, he is definitely a beta male, which then made me laugh for the rest of the book. The term alpha male is used a lot.
All in all, it was a fun, well written read.
