Amazing!!!! I couldn't put it down! Love seeing how they deal with different problems as they mature. As always mason is swoon worthy! Winter 2015 can't come soon enough! ! Hopefully we get to meet Logan Kade's soul mate!!!!

To try to maintain the intensity of these characters through now book five is a bit monotonous. It's like they are trying too hard to keep up a rebellious, take no prisoners attitude. I found myself skimming more and just waiting for this drama to end.

5 Stars just isn't enough for the whole Fallen Crest Series. The twists and turns in this series keeps you guessing and your heart pounding. I was crying and screaming at the same time by the end of this book..... LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

Fallen Crest University (Fallen Crest High #5)
By: Tijan
3/5 stars
Sam (and Logan) both have graduated from Fallen Crest Public and are freshman at Cain University. Mason is now a sophomore at Cain University, and a standout football player, bound for the NFL. They are all reunited and this should be one of the happiest, most carefree times of their lives. But, with the ongoing feud with Park Sebastian is worrisome. Mason can’t be caught in any type of physical confrontation, whether he is starting it or defending himself, because that could jeopardize his chances of being drafted into the NFL. Sam and Logan decided to take it upon themselves to protect Mason by not telling him if things happen and instead they would deal with it together. This does cause some friction between everyone.
Park Sebastian has figured out that Mason has a bigger weakness than his pro-football career, and that is Sam and to an extent, Logan. But Park knows that if he can get to Sam, then that is what will cause the most hurt to Mason. Park is willing to use mental or physical intimidation and any other weapon in his arsenal to get to Sam.
The writing was good however the book was just more of the same repetition. I really liked this series, but this book was nothing new. And it saddens me to say that. I’ve never liked any story where the characters martyr themselves in order to protect someone else. In the fourth book, Sam and Mason promised to have no secrets from each other, so I didn’t like any of the deception from the very beginning. It did get old having them refer to “loving this man/woman” and super adult emotions. Seriously, they are 18 and 19 years old!!! Some of this drama is so over the top and contrived, that you have to completely suspend belief, especially when they talk about “waging war.” There are very real wars and the rich, spoiled kids are definitely not in a war, a feud, an ongoing fight, yes; a war, no.
The storyline didn’t really move & not a whole lot happened other than the drama. There is a Christmas novella that picks up just after where this book ends. And there is another full length novel that will be released after that and it is supposed to be Logan’s book.

Amazing as always, but kinda dragged a little. It wasn't as exciting as the first four books but I can see how this book was needed. I'm looking forward to the sixth book cuz it's gonna be crazy! Also looking forward to the book with Logan's POV

This series is amazing Tijan it's an amazing author. These books show so much emotion and loyalty and they relate to what goes on in teenage lives and now college lives minus the secret society at least I know of none lol. But this book is one of my favorites at first I thought it was all jumbled up a bit and going to fast unlike the other ones but once I re read it I fell more in love with it. Sam and masons relationship has never been stronger the foursome has never been tighter as a group and a lot of characters step up and some new ones are introduced. I cannot wait for the other two books!

I LOVE the Fallen Crest Series and the majority of Tijan's other books. I was a little disappointed in this book though. What I love about this series is the closeness shared Sam, Mason and Logan (especially that between Sam and Mason) but in this book and in the last one they seem to be putting more distance between them. I hope that's remedied in the next book. Other than that I really enjoyed this book. The story kept never had a dull moment and kept me guessing the whole time.

Another amazing installment to the Fallen Crest universe! In this book we get to see Sam Do quite a bit of healing, and growing up. Mason is still the ultimate Bad Bad we all wish we could have. Tijans stories always keep me entertained from beginning to end. I can't wait to see what's next!!!!

I really could not follow what was going on. I assumed the book was a love story between Marcus and Samantha but that was not the whole plot. Lots of characters, Logan, Nate, Sebastian, Summer and many more contributed to past and future books. So I really can't say I enjoyed the read.

The drama continues in the fearsome foursome. There are things I like and things I didn't like. The author is great with keeping the drama following and plot twist.
Slight spoiler
However, I think I am ready for Sam and mason to have their hea.

When I first saw this series pop up on my Goodreads, I was intrigued. The cover was beautiful, and despite the old saying about not judging a book by its cover, we always do. For whatever reason, I ended up misunderstanding the blurb and deciding not to read it. However, later on I somehow came back to it again, and decided after truly reading the blurb and understanding it, that I was going to read the sample and give it a try. I knew that I had looked at it before, and decided not to read it but couldn't remember why. So I thought, what the heck? If I don't like the sample, I don't have to buy the book. But obviously, being that here I am writing a review for the fifth book in the series, we know that I bought the book. And I am so glad that I did. Tijan has such a way with how she forms her characters. The descriptions are flawless. She delivers these multidimensional characters that are so raw, and captivating. Each character has a complexity to them that makes the reader want to understand them. Piece by piece I was putting together puzzles. Everything always fits together seamlessly. There were so many layers that I was dying to peel back. I could feel every emotion, feeling, thought. I could see how each character fit in. I fell in love. I fell in obsession. A few times, I'd see a bad review about characters and how they changed or weren't the same ones from the book. After reading the books myself, I can't help but think about how wrong those reviews were. I could see exactly where Tijan was taking it. Like a game of connect the dots, she would lay all the dots out, and I would eagerly follow them to finally reveal the picture. Where everything aligned perfectly, and still I would be thirsty for more. Even now, Tijan has done it again. I will be impatiently awaiting the next book. It's going to be a slow, blissful torture. Nothing but sweet misery, bottled up with teasers and excitement of what's to come. I can say that even the side characters, like Heather and Channing, or Summer or even Sam's old friend Becky. So many more characters that are in the story but yet have a story of their own that can be told. There are so many possibilities. I can only hope the Tijan plans to continue something with any of them after this series is over. I don't think I could ever tire of this series, the characters or the story line. All that's left to do is wait, watch and let the chips fall where they may. I cannot wait to watch everything unfold.

I have really enjoyed the fallen crest series. I will continue to buy any new books in the series. All that said I haven't been to impressed with the last two books. I think what I am missing is the strong connection between Sam,Mason, and Logan. I understood the disconnect in Fourth Down but was disappointed to see it continue in this book. I know more books are planned in the series and I hope those are better.

There is going to be another book. That might be a spoiler, but for those who are like me, who don't stalk authors on social media, or keep up with what's going on all that thoroughly, and may have thought (like I did) that this was going to be the end, I thought I should start this review there. Truth is, I am not done with this book yet, I am about 3/4 of the way done, but I cheated and read the last few pages very early on (around page 50 or so), so I could see where things were going, and if they were going to be wrapped up with this installment. I got annoyed right from the beginning with Sam and Mason's musings about protecting each other. I just knew this was going to be another case of them both either out right lying to each other or lying by omission to protect each other. Its just so contrived and over the top. In Fallen Fourth Down they promised not to keep things from each other, but that's exactly what they started doing within 2 pages of this book!! It's like Tijan cannot make them a strong couple who is really a united front and keep them honest. I feel like the romantic bond between the couple felt even less than it did in Fallen Fourth Down. The only thing I can really say positive about this one, is that Sam grows at least half a back bone in this one and isn't the whining weak girl she was in FFD-she was almost insufferable in FFD so really, anything would have been an improvement over that one.
I no longer understand the point of this series. I liked the first three books. I read each one dreading the fact that it was ending, bbut quickly jumping into the next to see what happened. I could suspend belief and I cared about the couple. I couldn't wait for the fourth book. In anticipation of its release, I actually read the prequal, Mason, and purchased and read the three book Fallen Crest Series bundle. Then Fallen Fourth Down came out and my love affair ended. As a woman, I was totally turned off by Sam's character almost to the point where I didn't even understand what Mason saw in her. The drama was too much, and these kids (b/c that's what they are) running around in what seems to be an above the law manner, required me to again suspend belief to such a point that I just cannot get into this world anymore. I was still holding out hope that the 5th installment would bring me back into the world but it didn't and to find out there is a 6th book, well, I am just done. I don't care.
I feel like the great reviews are from people who will just praise Tijan no matter what, without really considering the merit of the work produced in it's entirety. Because while Tijan is a great writer, it's just starting to seem (and really started in the 4th book) like she isn't sure where to go with these characters. And perhaps that's because the world she's created is just so unbelievable, and there is no way to end this on a good note so she's dragging out the inevitable...just a theory. This story is no longer a good story, it's well written technically, but its just not a good, believable world that keeps me hooked. Do I want Sam and Mason to have their happily ever after...yes. Do I want to see what their future looks like with some of the ups and downs of "normal" young adults..yes. Would I like Logan to meet someone who he would protect like Mason protects Sam...I don't know. I don't know if that is his "point" in this series. But will I buy another Fallen Crest Series book to get the answers to these questions. I am 98% sure I won't. This review doesn't provide details of the story because if you read Fallen Crest 1-4, in many ways, you've read Fallen Crest University. Over the top, rules and laws be damned drama, totally uninvolved parents, almost too over involved sappy involved step parents, a little bit of lovey dovey stuff, and Sam and Mason talking about how much they love each other and want to protect each other, wash, rinse, repeat. I am sure Tijan loyalist will read this anyway, and anything else, but buyer beware is my suggestion.

I had this on my shelf for months, why did I wait you ask, well I was simply too scared to read this, I knew if Mason was worried about Park Sebastian at University then we were in for one hell of a ride.
So many times I put this book down, I would read a few chapters then get frightened for Sam, Logan and Nate, I knew I would not cope if Sam was hurt again physically as she was in book #3.
I loved how so many questions in relation Sam and her parents were answered for me, their history and how all these people knew each other and who in the hell was Park Sebastian.
Can I say that I loved Garret, he stepped up to the plate right when Sam needed him as a daughter and I loved that for her.
I had an awful feeling about one character, I kept hoping I was wrong, I was not and it was still a surprise. The whole reveal scene and how it played out for me was one of my favourite parts of the book.
Logan again provided me with some great humorous moments, I was interested to know more about the girl that seemed to grab his attention.
This is just another fantastic story for Mason, Logan, Sam and Nate and the emotional scenes between Mason and Sam kept me riveted to my chair and turning those pages until the wee hours.
Obviously goes without saying - you need to read all four books before picking this one up.

I have enjoyed this series up to Fallen Fourth Down. That being said, I was hoping we were getting to the end with Logan's book being a novella...my mistake. At the end of FFD, Sam and Mason came to an understanding, no more lies, secrets, thy were family. Sam got a scholarship, she was becoming an independent woman standing by her man. Mason and Logan talked a bit about his feelings for Sam but nothing was really settled. We start this book, and apparently there was an altercation between Mason and Logan about this, but we didn't know about it until Mason mentioned it. They talked about being family but there was very little interaction with the other family members, and at the first sign of trouble and the lies and secrets begin. When Sam needed to "run" I found it unbelievable that she wouldn't have a place to go, that's her thing, especially since she is on a scholarship to run and didn't know of the indoor track...really. There were moments when I thought next page and skimmed the chapter, that is a rare occurrence for me. Tijan, please don't stretch this series out…gives us Logan's story and end it on a happy note.

I clearly enjoy this series or I wouldn't continue reading 5 books in. This wasn't the best. The plot felt forced many times. I have the same critique with book 5 as I did in book 1: show, don't tell. I strongly dislike when the characters have to tell me that I've reached a pivotal moment. That is something I should be able to piece together myself. I'm also getting slightly annoyed at being reminded that the three main characters are "not normal teenagers". I get it. You're special. Understood, and no argument. If that needs reinforced, then again, show me. With that being said, I'm still glad I read it. I enjoy the characters, and the lack of overly cheesy love scenes. I look forward to the next in the series.

I love the world of Mason, Sam and Logan, and Fallen Crest University is quite possibly my favourite after Fallen Crest High. This book follows on directly from Fallen Fourth Down. The gang are back together at University and the Bond between Sam, Mason and Logan grows stronger as they are forced to face off with Sabastian. Lots of twists and turns, along with passion and tears. Fantastic read, I can't wait for the next instalment.

The Fallen Crest series is definitely one of my favorite series and this new installment did not disappoint. I love these books! Great story, but she should of seen the room mate as someone not to trust cause she seemed off from the start. I can't wait until the next one comes out because the bitch is back! Can't wait to see how this is handled this time and what going to happen at college next... But the odd part didn't she get a full ride for track? This whole book never talked about her on the track team or did anything with the track, just that she ran when she was stressed out...

I enjoyed the first few books but this series has become all about revenge and doing horrible things with no consequences. The main characters are bullies who feel entitled to do whatever they want. The more I read the less I liked the characters and the book. Other than wealth, looks and sporting ability, they have nothing going for them. They use people, are abusive towards others, are petty criminals, and are just truly awful people that are revered for their shallow attributes. An attempt is made to justify their behaviour by pitting them against people who are even worse. The first book held promise but this promise has not been realised.

I'm really conflicted about this series I've read every book aside from this one up to now , I really enjoyed reading more about Logan and found myself wishing that TIJAN would find a way explore there relationship a little further and then of course let Logan have him closer eventually leading sam back to mason bc now I feel mason will always fear his brother and sams relationship and knowing the way mason plans maybe the athour could have had it that mason intentionally pushes sam to Logan so that they can figure out on there own it's not meant to be , idk and I would like to hear logans POV.

I love my Kades but this fell flat to me!! I was also seriously annoyed that Sebastian's name kept changing. Last book it Sebastian Park and this book it switched between that Park Sebastian. I'd love for Sam, Mason and Logan to finally get a HEA. This is getting drawn out, boring and redundant at this point.

I love the Fallen Crest Series. Tijan wrote another amazing book. Mason and Sam's relationship is one of my favorites to read about. Add in Logan and would anyone want to be a part of this family. The bond they all share is only getting stronger with each book. I can't wait to see what happens next. Another threat down. What will happen next? Fallen Crest University is amazing and I would recommend the entire series to anyone who has not read it before.

I loved the series from the first books. However this one was such a disappointment. The "kids" being so disrespectful to adults, thinking they are better then anyone else because their parents let them down. The fighting is getting boring. Go to a gym and take it out on a punching bag. It feeling like Tijan is just dragging the story on and on. They are in college now time to grow up and act like adults and show some respect to other people. I could not finish and that was first for me... I had to skip a lot because it was just dragging on and on. I hope she does better with the next one.

Would have liked to have seen more about Sam's athletic scholarship, and the football team too.
