if you don't know who maranda is than you should watch some videos on YouTube of her before purchasing this book I am a merfanda and have Ben watching her for a very long time like what the even heck love this book I made my mom pre order it and I was so happy when it came and every page I read it's like exploring her life more I have seen most of her and colleens videos I follow them on all social media but I love it

This is the most hilarious book that I have ever read. If you are a Mirfanda, you will read this book in a Miranda voice. I saw Miranda Camp this summer and she is honestly one of the best YouTube personalities/comedians out there. I would recommend this book to anyone.

Miranda Sings (Colleen Ballinger-Evans) is an hysterical You Tube comedian addressing mostly teenage (G/PG) issues. Colleen's book is a great addition to her already hilarious live shows and You Tube videos!

The only thing I didn't like about it was the size of the book. I like books with more height and less width because they are easier to hold in your hands while you're reading. I definitely recommend this book if you watch her videos and "understand" her humor and what she means by her words.

I adore Miranda Sings and have seen all of her videos about 5 times each. You think I'm exaggerating but I'm not. That said, sometimes I feel like it's getting old - still funny - but old. I ordered the book to support Colleen and her endeavors. Imagine my surprise when I cracked this baby open and was laughing out loud at how ridiculously, unbelievably, so-wrong-it's-right funny this was. There's new material, with the same old Miranda sass that we love. I'm so essited for a new book!

I'm not really sure what age group this is for. Bought it for my 8 year old daughter. I went through it and a lot of it is innapropriate. There is a lot of talk about porn and other things. I actually ripped out all of the bad pages and have her the book. Some of it is funny though. My advice is to go through it first if it's for a young child

Entertaining for sure! Mildly inappropriate for my daughter that I purchased the book for, but over-all funny, interesting, and Miranda for sure! If you are familiar with her YouTube channel, then you'll enjoy it that much more! The illustrations were creative & it is not difficult to read or understand. Maybe not ideal for a coffee table though.

I love this book it makes me laugh and the thing I love about it most is that it has little bar codes that you scan and it takes you to a secret video I'm in love with this book you should by it you its worth every penny

This is a fun book that can be opened to any page when you are in need of a laugh. I preordered this book a few months ago and couldn't be happier with it. Besides the laughs, the creativity in the layout is very impressive and the physical quality of the book is excellent. Thanks Colleen and Chris for your hard work!

NOT FOR YOUNG KIDS!!!! Some very crude and inappropriate language in here. I purchased for my 9 year old, and after looking through it, decided not to give it to her and gave it away to a friend who has a much older daughter.

I love the book it is so funny! I got the book today and already read it all! I love to watch miranda aings on YouTube! I love colleen she is so down to earth and such an awesome role model! Im 16 ans she is my role model!

if you don't know who Miranda is, just go watch all of her videos on YouTube and love them. But otherwise this is the best book I have ever gotten and I will always love it. It makes me laugh so much!!

This was cute, well written book by a great comedienne and her brother! The book is colorful and filled with "Miranda-isms" that children and teens love - and this old lady likes it, too. I am going to wait a couple of years to give it to my 10 year old - some stuff is PG rated and I am old fashioned, I am sure a lot of 8 year olds are enjoying the book as I write this and it would be okay except for just a few entries. Overall a great, fun book!

This is a Chanukah gift for my daughter who is 11. On page 137 it talks about porn and about a woman of color.(not in the same sentence). I am against this kind of language since all people should be treated with respect. I did not want my daughter to have this book but my ex said its ok since she will likely dismiss what it says. This book should be for adults and not children. Disappointed that such language is in there that is not appropriate for some. My daughter wanted this book so Ill give it to her.

Bought this for my 10 year old daughter who adores Miranda Sings and watches her on YouTube. For the most part the book is pretty light-hearted but I found a few questionable things that I didn't necessarily find appropriate for my 10 year old, such as a female who wears pumps is a slut. I can take a joke, I consider myself to be quite humorous, but not sure a child can tell sarcasm in the pages of a book. I'd read it before giving it to your child.

So funny! Just got it like 30 minutes ago and I'm already on page 75! So far so good! I pre-ordered this back in Feb. or March and I was ecstatic to know it was coming soon!! Can't wait for what Colleen has coming up soon! Definitely recommend this book for a good laugh!!

Selp Helf is a creative, funny, witty and interactive book of Miranda Sings in a whole new light. I am a true Mirfanda and have watched Miranda/Colleen for almost 5 years. A lot of what's in the book is not what you see in her videos, which is what the fans will appreciate.

I would have rather had a real book from Miranda or even Colleen instead of the interactive version, but otherwise this is a great book!

I think it's pretty generous of Miranda to write a book to help the untalented, unattractive, unintelligent, and uninteresting. We may not ever be as perfect as Miranda (because she is the best), but now we can attempt to be less of a disgrace. Thanks!

I am a big Colleen and Miranda fan and let me tell you that this book is not for children. I was so disappointed bc i was actually looking forward to reading this book to my 4 year old niece. But of course as a good aunt i had to check the book first and unfortunately some parts are not for kids. Unfortunately I did not find the book amusing or funny.. Some parts were funny but I got bored while I was halfway in the book. Very dissapointed..

This book intriqued my daughter and made her laugh. I wish the author had not used mispelled words and poor grammar. I know this is supposed to be a "journal"; I get it. But reading at this age is vocabulary building, and so important. I do appreciate the creativity and wit which attracted my reader. This was a book my child chose on her own.

What a pointless book. I bought it only to vet it before I got it for my stepdaughter for Christmas (it was on her Santa list). What garbage. No chance she'll be getting that from me!

I don't appreciate the inappropriate remarks Miranda often sticks in with her humor. We find her risque and sexually-charged nuances to be completely inappropriate; especially for her young audience. Sorry we bought the book after seeing her distasteful Netflix movies.

My daughter likes the you tube videos and was dying to buy the book. With her Christmas money, she ordered it and can't wait to get home to get it. The downside? It's so full of inappropriate trash that I get to have a tough conversation with my kiddo who looks up to this character. Her hearts going to be broken and we will be sending this book back. Very inappropriate ....

This book is meant to be funny, however, it uses inappropriate language for young children. It also addresses how to resolve issues in an inappropriate way such as revenge. The language in this book might not be shocking to a high schooler but would be considered too childish. I would not recommend this book to anyone! Don't buy it.

I was actually appalled when I opened this book. It was requested by my 11 year old sister-in-law for Christmas. I bought it without knowing anything about it. Thank God I opened it before wrapping it up for her. It is full of garbage and terrible influence for the next generation, in the name of "humor." This should be taken off the market.

This is the best self help book ever. To get the most out of this book please drink high alcoholic beverages while reading.

Okay, in all seriousness now… This is a funny self help book. The intention of this book is to make you laugh and it definitely delivers on that part. When I bought this book I actually was not familiar with Miranda Sings. This is not a "serious" book, nor is it a "increase-your-IQ- book". This is a great book for when you've had a busy week and you just want to relax, and pour yourself a glass of wine, and just laugh.

If you have a sense of humor, you'll love this book. If you have a stick up your butt, not so much.

I bought this book from another the store account but, this book is GREAT! Ok, so maybe it's not your regular reading book, it's not so don't expect to be reading it for weeks, it took me about 2 hours but it is entertaining and funny! I'm a huge Miranda Sings fan and honestly, I think Colleen Ballinger is one of the most brilliant people I've come across in my entire life; she's creative beyond imagination, really a brilliant person. I've watched most of Miranda's YouTube videos so understanding the book was really easy. This book is one of my favorite things in the whole world and I'm gonna take care of it forever, it just guarantees to lighten up my day, whenever I feel sad, it's as easy as flipping one page open and be instantly entertained. I've read some parts to friends and family and they've been as entertained and laughed as much as I have so it really applies to Miranda fans or not, sure would be better to know what she's about to really have a good time and end up reading the book with her voice hahah. I've seen some reviews where people say it's inappropriate, seriously people? NOT AT ALL, if your pre teen kid can't read this it's because you're either very very conservative or a very very ridiculous person; don't hesistate, buy this, you won't regret it! I'm 23 btw

Anyone who doesnt like her is crazy .
She has it all , from the looks to the fashion ! To me she is a hero to everyone babies ,kids , or adults . Even dogs love her , especially my little chiweenie ! Anyone who doesnt know her should read this book and watch her channel . I may not have a phone but I still am able to watch her . She is everywhere on phones , laptops , even tv ! Some people call her a poopie head or a nonsense but they are just haters . And we all know what she'd say about that , HATEES BACK OFF !

Excellent book especially if you are feeling a little bit down or under the emotional weather. It is funny. It will make you giggle and laugh and finally guffaw. (I have waited years to be able to write that word in a sentence!) Self-Help does exactly what it says it will do. You will receive a mighty dose of self-help via Miranda style. Don't worry as it will be good for you. I am most happy that my friend presented me with this book as I did need a little pic-me-up or kick in the seat of the pants. Miranda Sings is a realistic, truthful woman who is not afraid to face the facts. I really do like this book. It has been one of my summer favorites and a keeper for my hodgepodge collection of books. Five stars from me. Don't miss this one if you can help it.

Typical Miranda verbiage. My favourite was the levels of relationships. I like watching her YouTube shows because she makes me laugh but I'm probably on the "older" range of her subscribers. I imagine her younger Mirfandas would adore this book. She really needs to get some better editors! :)

My daughters and I are big fans of Miranda & all those Ballingers. HOWEVER, I wasn't too sure about Miranda writing a book. After all, all the YouTubers are doing it now, and I figured she was just doing it because everyone else was doing it. To my surprise, she made her book uniquely "Miranda." My daughter and I read this together in our Miranda voices. It really is hilarious. We laughed until we cried.

Wish I would've read more reviews before suggesting that a family member get this for my 9yo daughter for Christmas! It made for a very uncomfortable moment when people started leading through the book and there was stuff about porn, "69" and repeated use of the word slut! I'll be honest, Miranda annoys me to the point I don't watch many of her videos or Netflix show, but now I'm pretty concerned that this character isn't what I thought! Who is the audience for this if not preteen girls? I can't imagine anyone over the age of 15 would find her funny - yet some of this content is extremely inappropriate for preteen girls! I taped together the bad pages, because my daughter really wanted the book, but I guess I'm going to have to be more careful about my daughter watching her stuff!

The book is more like a scrapbook - there are lots of pictures with captions. (It is not in paragraph form)
Selp Helf is literally the best book I've ever read and it is HILARIOUS (especially if you've watched her videos). The book does reference jokes and sayings from her youtube videos, so make sure to watch her videos before you read the book because you will be able to appreciate the jokes and it will be so much funnier!!
But I have literally laughed out loud on every page. GET THIS BOOK IF YOU WANT TO LAUGH, WHICH OF COURSE YOU DO. BUY IT. BUY IT NOW.

All you parents talking about how the book was way too inappropriate for your kids need help. EVERYONE WHO IS A FAN OF MIRANDA SINGS knows how her humor is. And the honest truth is teens find her hilarious. Her humor is harmless. You guys should WATCH WHAT YOUR KIDS DO ONLINE before you give a book a bad review when Colleen wrote a perfectly funny book as her character.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!! I realize that it talks about some weird inappropriate things but if you watch and love her videos you should have been prepared for that! But it was extremely funny creative and not to mention completely personalized! I've read it over a million times! Colleen, Miranda and Chris did a fabulous job! In very proud of them! I bought this book for my 13 year old. She loves Miranda and she has shown me many of her videos. She's very funny. I was so disappointed in her book. It's completely inappropriate for kids and they are her biggest fans. When I opened the book, the "porn" page is the one that it opened to. REALLY, not ok. I'm returning the book without showing it to my daughter and I had to explain to her that it was not for her age group. I'm also disappointed that although I didn't have to pay shipping to purchase it, I'm having to pay to return it.
