The Dark Protectors Box Set: Books 1-4

one of the better paranormal series out there. My favorites in the series are book 1-4 so this is the perfect set for me. Tempted (book 3) and Hunted(book 4) are my favorites but Books one and 2 are solid. Most definitely worth the price

FATED
It took me a little while to get into this story. Talen is a vampire sent to take Cara and her daughter Janie into hiding. Cara is an empath and Janie is a 4 yr old psychic. As soon as Talen touches her, the mating brand appears on his hand. An evil vampire wants her for his mate and will stop at nothing to get her.

CLAIMED
Emma is a scientist, also Cara's sister, who is running from the Kurjans. She is working on a cure for the virus the Kurjans invented. Dage is king of the realm. He has been dreaming of his mate for centuries and finally finds her. But Emma knows the future and doesn't want to put Dage thru the pain. They must find out who is giving their location away to the enemy, fight vamps, and find the cure.
Exciting, sexy, and a little bloody.

HUNTED
Moira is a witch and the mate to Conn. She is the seventh daughter of a seventh daughter. One of the most powerful. The one night Conn and Moira spent together and he marks her. But he signs a treaty to let her study for a century but know his mate is in danger and it's time to bring her home. Witches from the Coven Nine are disappearing into thin air. When she's almost taken, he takes her home. They work together to figure out who's doing it.

I have bought the whole series a while back. There are about 10 books in this series and I loved everyone of them. I am now collecting all of her books in paperback reread as right now these books are on my Kindle. This series was the 1st time that I have ever read anything by this author and I have fallen in love with her. I mostly skip over the love scenes but at least they were married and well written. I would recommend this author to anyone. I have now started on the Sin brother series and have read the 1st book but the other 3 are on order. I can't wait for them to get here. I tried I one book in this Dark Protector series and that is of Jodi (I think is her name, she is the daughter of one of the women who married the oldest one of the brothers) and as soon as I have it, this series will be done. If you love reading about vampires who are to good guys are trying to save the world and fight evil then you are going to love this series!!!!!

I very much enjoyed this book. I liked the alpha males and Talen was perfect. I'd read some reviews about this book before bought it. They didn't like how Talen treated Cara, they compared the love scenes to rape. That was so wrong. Talen's actions were right on with the type of character and subjects. He is something akin to a wild creature. He loved Cara and Janie whole heartily. Cant wait to read "Claimed".

I loved this book, I thought this was better then "Fated". Dage and Emma are wonderful characters and they have great chemistry. Rebecca just keeps getting better. I cant wait for the next book.

Tempted 3*
I love Max's character in this series. I'm 'm glad he has found a mate in Sarah. I just really wished I liked this book better. Its a must read for the series and not a bad read just felt a little forced and to quick in the relation department.

Hunted 4*
I loved this book. Connlan and Moira are great characters, alpha male and a strong female. The book started off a little slow but soon picked up. I loved the dream scene at the end with Zane and Janie best line in the book "No Belle I'm the flood". So cool.

These are not stand alone books. Read in order to get the most joy out of the books.

Who knew that on an April day in 2013 I would be sitting on my reading sofa, kindle in hand, looking for the next read that would take me away from this everyday world. What I found was a little book called Fated, book 1 in The Dark Protectors Series by Rebecca Zanetti. I fell in love with the hot sexy Kayrs (especially Talen) vampire brothers of the Realm. Talen took in Cara and her little 4yr girl named Janie and adopted her and protected her with everything he had. In the next 3 books you will meet Dage, Conn and Max. Max is not a Kayrs brother but does it really matter? He is just as hot. Enjoy this series you will be wanting more I am sure of it.

I liked the first and third stories. I really did not care for the fourth. The lead female character was ridiculous. I am often amazed how writers feel that create strong female characters when that is not the case. I will not be completing this series of reading anymore of this author.

I love these stories. I came across these books by chance and I feel in love from the first chapter. I Strongly reading these books in order.
Book One: FATED: Talen and Cara. Plant physiologist Dr. Cara Paulsen is an empath raising her four years old child Janie by herself. The botanist will do anything to keep her beloved Janie, who has psychic skills, safe. Talen is sent to Cara and her daughter Janie to rescue them Janie is the chosen one that they need to protect for their vampire race. Janie has been dreaming about Talen for years but Cara isn't about to go so easily with the stranger that is trying to rip them from the home. When stranger Talen Kayrs introduces himself, he insists he is protecting her and Janie. She thinks he is nuts, but Janie reassures her that he is safe and here to protect them. He also demands she marry him so his family will be obligated to protect both of the them as the Kurjans want females with special skills especially Janie. The heat between Talen and Cara is explosive. He wants her because he knows that she is her mate that he has been waiting for three hundred years.
Book Two: Claimed: Emma and Dage. Emma is Cara's sister. Dage, is king of the Realm, his job is to keep his race and other paranormals safe from the Kurjans. Those intent of kidnapping human females with special abilities, so they can breed with them. One such woman is Emma, a scientist who may hold the key to unraveling a devastating illness affecting other mates and breeding women.

Emma is faced with startling revelations that she is Dages impending Queen and the even more startling, she wants him...Emma can't decide what to do. Does she go with her heart and become a breeding mate, even if Dage does set her body on fire by merely glancing at her? Or does he follow her mind that tells her to focus on finding a cure to save the family she loves. I loved the passion between Dage and Emma. They both try to resist each other even though they both have known for years that they are destined to be together.,
Book Three: Moira and Connlan: 100 years ago Moira and Connlan were mated. Because she is a witch he agreed to leave and let her train. The war between vampires and Kurjans is heating up and Con is back in Moira's life to take her home with him. He claims for good but Moira is the seventh sister to the seventh sister and is a powerful witch now, and her people do not want her to be with the Vampire. Con was devasted leaving Moira for the last 100 years and he is more than ready to take claim of what is his. Moira and Con can not deny the passion and the heat that they have for each other. They will soon learn that their powers are stronger together instead of apart.

I love this series. The story is original, the creatures are believable. The characters are likeable and well developed. Even the bad guys have a tangible feel to them, even if you hate them. She doesn't short change us on getting to know the players. The romance is titillating. The story moves quickly and she keeps the pages turning, yet I never feel rushed - her descriptions put me into the scene, into the character's minds and hearts - but she doesn't overdo it - she keeps the story moving with plenty of action. I read the series originally from the library but had to come back and purchase them so I can reread them. They are that good. Can't wait for more in the series!

I read each of thse separately, but not this box set. Definitely worth reading and a good deal. Love the series, though book 1 had me off to a rocky start. Each book on its own I rated between 4-5 stars. It gets better as each book goes on.

The Dark Protector series, by Rebecca Zanetti, is a precious one. The characters are the perfect heroes and heroines, the stories are full of action, romance, friendship and has a plot that keeps me intrigued since the first.

First time reading stories by Rebecca Zanetti and I've become a fan. This box set contains the stories of Talen and Cara, Dage and Rebecca, Max and Sarah and Conn and Moira. The stories are spellbinding, action packed and sexy. Alpha males whose mates are no push overs. I'm reading the last story now and will definitely buy the rest of the books in this series as I can't wait to see what happens next. I definitely recommend the Dark Protectors!!
