The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo: A Novel

I enjoyed the book and the readers did a fantastic job.
This a story about A woman who took matters into her own hands to get what she wanted, and now at the end of her life having to reconcile those choices.

If you want a traditional Hollywood romance novel, this book is not for you. If you would like to explore same sex love and relationships, in a time that it was all but forbidden, then this book is for you. I wasn't expecting that twist, and I didn't prefer it.

This book completely blew me away. I really have no words for the way that it made me truly question myself, my thoughts, my purpose in life, and the way that I interact with those around me. It made me give my children extra hugs before bed every night. I wish that I could put into words everything that I am feeling and thinking right now. I will need weeks to completely process this book. I haven't had that happen in years...

It’s hard to review this book without spoilers but the heart of it is best discovered without spoilers, so all I will say is this book is a delight if you love classic Hollywood and I love Evelyn Hugo for exactly who she is.

This book is so intriguing. It has kept my interest the whole time. I really loved that I got to really know the character Evelyn Hugo so deeply. I feel sad for her at the end. It’s surprising how the story of her life unfolds.
