I love these type of short stories, grab your attention and leave you with a longing for more! Joe has taken what he learned from his dad and is perfecting his own style that grabs you and keeps you coming back for more

Joe Hill has a really great imagination. I can see him coming up with this idea while traveling around. It is cute and light...A nice short read, something to pass the time while waiting in the Doctor's office or on your daily commute. (Ha, Ha!). I did enjoy the characters. I liked the ending, predictable as it was. All in all, it was good.

Delightful little romp by the son of the greatest author alive Stephen King. Joe Hill is carving his own niche and finding his own voice, not getting over on his father's dime. Big shoes and huge expectations for him to fill, and I think he is doing just fine! My current favorite author going. Go Joe!!

What a unique and tense and thrilling short story! It is a bit reminiscent of The Twilight Zone, so needless to say, I loved it. You will get no spoilers here, but I can honestly say that my only complaint was that it was too short. I devoured it so swiftly that it left me salivating for more (pun intended). Joe Hill has done it again, kudos.

If this had been buried in a short story collection, I probably wouldn't have minded it much, but as a Kindle single, it left me cold ... just not much here, I'm afraid, especially compared to Hill's excellent *Twentieth Century Ghosts*, which is amazing.

I've enjoyed author Hill's short stories, novelettes and especially full-length novels and this little jewel is no exception.

"Wolverton Station" is a fun tale with a message. Saunders is an American businessman who finds out that it DOES make a difference whether you ride in coach or in first class on British trains. He has come to England as a hatchetman for an international chain and finds out he doesn't have the cojones to play with the big dogs.

Pretty entertaining although I pretty much figured out the ending. Is this perhaps a metaphor for how business is today? We're all wearing wolves clothing without realizing it. I think Mr. Hill have come into his own without the King name attached. I really did enjoy this.

Much too short, predictable, nothing unique. You can read better short stories in magazines. I love Joe Hill, but not this story. Maybe it's just that wolves are not scary to me and the human in the story deserved his fate. This would have been fine in a collection of short stories, but standing alone, it doesn't stand.

Short stories (especially very short stories) can be tricky. When words can't be wasted, writing an enjoyable story can be tough. I liked this, but can't say that it was fantastic. Loved "Heart Shaped Box" (try it if you have the courage) and I loved "Horns" (can't wait for the movie version!!).

Werewolves in England.
Like no one ever thought of that before.
It would have been more dramatic if the main character would have tried to get away/fight back against the werewolf in the end, anyway, rather than just talking to him.
A waste of my time and money.

I really like Joe Hill's writing. Heart Shaped Box and NOS4A2 are two of my favorites. I read a review in a magazine and couldn't wait to download it. Downloading and reading took minutes - I was literally done in 20 minutes. I found it weak and a little dull and it certainly is nowhere near as compelling a read as his other work, maybe because it was it was only a short story or maybe because there was nothing to it. Even though it was 99 cents, it wasn't worth it.

Early work that is derivative and devoid of any sort of suspense or surprise. Beats you over the head with the message as bludgeon, and then makes you watch as it clubbers each member of your family with the same message battering ram.
