The book ends with serious prescriptions on how to resurrect the GOP from its currently moribund Trumpian state. The book reaches that point with an immensely entertaining analysis of the current presidential administration in the USA. If you're interested in politics, this book is must-read.

The title says it all: Everything Trump Touches Dies: A Republican Strategist Gets Real About the Worst President Ever. This insider's view of the Republican Party and how it let Donald become President is shocking.

This was funny and tragic at the same time. People trusting in someone they thought was honorable and then learning painfully that trust was misplaced. Would recommend this book to learn what not to do.

I did not dislike Everything Trump Touches Dies. Wilson comeds as close as anyone I've red to Trumnp's inner core. What he sees, he attacks. Wilson admits that he a propagandist by trade; that his attack ads are scaled to do the greatest
damage possible. Maybe that is why he knows Trump so well. Recommended reading with a caveat. Be prepared to be occasionally offended. Wilson pulls no punches.

Unlike the one-star hit-and-runs, I actually HAVE read this book. It's very much on point, and quite humorous. FWIW, the Trumptards are flooding the one-star-review section, flinging their feces at the wall.

...if not ... I am sorry the American educational system failed you.
This book deconstructs the events and consequences of Trump's candidacy and presidency. It's sad how many people have lost their collective minds and sold their souls for ... "but Gorsuch" and the new tax bill. We will overcome this anomaly of a presidency and many will have to explain why they lacked the spine to stand up and do something about the emperor's inexistent clothes and intellect. Wilson makes many references to the Vichy regime and Petain ... (again if you skipped World history in school ..nevermind) and our esteemed politicians would do well to remember what happened to the Vichy supporters, and Neville Chamberlain and all the faustian apprentices. Sometimes, Wilson goes overboard with his descriptions and adjectives, but the facts are facts, not alternative, not fake, not personal and the conclusions write themselves. The book is funny and cathartic and connects some dots in a logical way. The Trump supporters will troll these reviews without reading the book (too many big words maybe?). For the undecided ... give it a chance, he's not peddling any conspiracy theories and he's steering clear from Mueller's investigation and the Russian shenanigans.

He opposite me politically, but we agree on so much of what tRUmp has done to the Republican party and to America - none of it good. The demise of what was a great political party has lessons for both the next and Democrats.

One of the most brilliant writers I have come across. If you are finding yourself in trumplandia and feeling like I've had enough am I the only one thinking this? Oh no you're not alone. Thank you Rick! I can honestly say I never thought I would be purchasing a book written by a conservative. I'm glad I did

This is an intimately written, funny, thoughtful assessment of the dumpster fire that is this administration and surrounding sycophants. The use of articles and actual occurrences along with the "whimsy" of sections like "Mad Max" make it entertaining and informative. If you're at all politically curious, read this book!Thank you to @RickWilson for this gem!

Wilson is acidly funny, deeply informed, surprisingly erudite and wonderfully blunt. Terrific read, and a revealing glimpse into how the sausage is made in D.C. Wilson is a lifelong Republican, a political strategist, and a self-proclaimed Republican hatchet man, and this book is a pull-no-punches look at his own work and that of the GOP of today. He names names, cites facts, knows his history, and uses some damned fine literary references.

Spoiler alert: Today's Republican party may never recover from the days of Trump. But you probably knew that.

Good book, even a unique book, and highly recommended.

This is an informative look into the motives and beliefs of a professional Republican. It is also a book filled with humour, possibly sarcasm, which I found made it easier to read. The author's view of the modern day (neo)conservative parallels my own feelings on the subject.

This is a book about staying true to principles over the quest for power. It is also about how NOT to be conned. It is a riotous, hilarious send-up of those who would join a cult of personality, or equivocate about corruption and criminality in exchange for short-term goals. Highly recommended.

A brilliant, acidic, laser-precise accounting of the current political situation. The author's take down of the Trump clown posse had me laughing out loud from beginning to end. Raunchy, hilarious and oh-so-satisfying. I loved this book and couldn't put it down.

Wonderful book. Laugh out loud funny. Who knew a Republican could have such a clever sense of humor. I would recommend this to anyone who loves democracy. My wife got tired of me quoting paragraphs from this book. Hopefully she will read it next. It is great to hear this from the other side.

It is a superlative work, a contemporary conservative masterpiece. “Everything Trump Touches Dies” is an incomparable political narrative.

I laughed so hard while moved by blistering insight. Trumps apartment is a style cross of Liberace (that’s Władziu) and Sadam . Wiki Leeks transcripts of Trump and Hanity revealed. Authors involvement in the pedophile and Bannon upset. Stunning analysis revealed to the very end, “Tiny, Tiny, hands”.

Recommend any version, but I really enjoy the Rick Wilson read to me. His pace, tone, inflection bring his word mastery to scintillating gusto.

Historically, references to this volume will appear in thesis and deserations about the Trump administration for centuries.

Congratulations noob

I find little to laugh at with the current administration, but Rick Wilson's clever analysis and brilliant take down was very entertaining. Reading the POV of a staunch conservative was interesting too. It reminded me that there was a time when the GOP had ideals and integrity.

Unless you're drinking the koolaid, you simply must read this book. It's so smart, funny, and savage. For people like me, surrounded by Trump apologists, it will keep you from losing your ever-loving mind. It has helped keep me from feeling gaslighted and crazy. I LOVED this book. Couldn't recommend it more highly. Unless, of course, you're still under the delusion that Trump is our Lord and Savior. If that's the case, you might find the book a little irritating.

I am a female, deep blue state democrat who would have been once referred to as a "hippie," such is my age and experience. Mr. Wilson reminded me of an America that was "the shining city on the hill" because no matter the differences between the parties, Americans worked out those differences in that messy, crazy place the Framers invented in the Constitution, the three co-equal branches of government. He reminded me that it was a grand give and take enshrined in the rule of law and in the nobility of our Constitution. Mr. Wilson has shone an important light on why Trump and his minions are a threat to that and our fundamental democratic origins, principles and processes. More importantly, he advises Republicans how to step back from the brink and what needs to be accomplished. Kudos to Mr. Wilson and his bravery.

A bit more personal than expected... Rick pulls no punches, even on himself. A good overall explanation of the current state of affairs, how we got there... and his brand of cantankerous optimism for the future.

Edit: The desperation by Trump Trolls to keep you from reading this book is all you need to verify its value ?

Brilliant work. Loved the whole thing. I'm a Democrat. I used to vote by best cadidate, seeing myself as a centrist. I vote Dem only now because ousting the GOP is the only way to cure the cancer that has infested 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. I hope true Republicans can find their way back to sanity.

Rick Wilson is able to capture the true nature of trump and has the knowledge and experience of a D.C. insider.
