Thank you Annabelle Bryant for writing a fantastic novel, especially this historical romance that I love to read.It is a passionate, captivating love story that sucks you in from the first page. I especially loved the interaction between Sin and Vivienne. I was rivited to the story every single page.
Do yourself a favor and read this book, you will not be disappointed.
If I was asked what fictional H I could fall in love with,Maxwell Sinclair would be high on the list. At this point I feel I need to add a quote from the book. And I quote...
"He commanded respect, by breathing, simply by being."
This is definately Sin's story but Vivienne is a beautiful h and their love story is special considering their earlier years and current lifestyle.
I will be looking forward to reading the other stories in this series.

Simply put, I LOVED this book. It has everything that a historical romance could ask for; great characters, passion, and the perfect setting. I am a huge fan of historical romance set in Great Britain and it takes a special author to keep my attention. This author does that perfectly. I hope to see many more in this series.

Anabelle caught my attention with her Regency Charms series and kept it with the Regency Rogues. The Den of Iniquity has me craving more "Bastards of London". Well written, enjoyable characters, and a great story! I look forward to much more from Ms. Bryant.
Her Best Friend's Dad :: life-affirming novel that will make you laugh and cry :: The Lady Travelers Guide to Scoundrels and Other Gentlemen :: A Bad Boy Rancher Love Story (The Dawson Brothers Book 1) :: The Book of God

Beautifully written and engaging! I really enjoyed this story. Max and Vivienne are totally different in every way and still find their hearts belong together. I like Bryant's writing style. The subtle description and detail puts you right into the book. The twists and turns in the plot were great and the little hints at the upcoming books in the series makes we anxious for the next.

What a great book!! Loved the instant attraction between Max and Vivienne, but even more so how their relationship deepened. Annabelle has such a way with words that you feel like you are part of the story. I can't wait for book 2!

Another outstanding start to a new series! Anabelle Bryant is amazingly refreshing. Whisking her readers away to Regency England where her words, characters and stories come alive. I can't wait to read the rest of this series. The Bastards of London draws you in with its raw, relatable characters and complex theme, it leaves you wanting more. I for one am excited to see what happens next! Brava!

A wonderful beginning to a new series. Annabelle works her magic again and effortlessly draws the reader in and allows them to get lost in the romance of the past. Looking forward to many more titles from this truly talented author.

Once again proves her knowledge of historical romance. Anabelle has an exquisite way with words and making her characters all to real. It doesn't always depend on what side of the blanket you were born.

I love it. The story has all the elements necessary to make a great book. It has a man who is a bastard but despite his birth has become an honorable one. She is sweet, kind and loving, and she has lost the significant person in her life, her mom. The plot winds around so many things, lust, hate, despair and danger, to name a few. It is so well written that it is almost impossible to put down. The characters are so life like in their feelings that you are drawn into the story and your interest is held throughout. I really hope you love it as much as I did. I can hardly wait for the next book.
I received this book free for an honest review.

Max Sinclair the bastard son of a nobleman always on the fringe of society, not really fitting in except at -the Den of Iniquity-the only place he calls home, he's the owner of that house of hell where the nobility loose their money. He's bent on avenging his mothers brutal death and he's closing in on the killers. Then he meets Lady Vivienne Beaumont and he can't get enough of her but he knows that any association with him will be her ruin.
Lady Vivienne Beaumont has other ideas. She sees a man with an honorable soul that he hides behind his rough exterior and she can't just let him go.
I totally loved Max and Vivienne's story their chemistry was explosive a living being! An intriguing story of danger and secrets. The secondary characters were interesting the plot has enough twists to keep the reader riveted to the pages of this awesome story! Can't wait for the next one. Highly recommend !!!

What a great story .
Divided by their stations in life ,
they don’t give in , love won’t let them , and circumstances try at every turn to tell them they are wrong for each other .
Let’s face it , a bastard son , game hell owner , desperately seeking revenge and death of three highwaymen for his mother’s demise, is not the best Match for
A beautiful ,pure philanthropist , now the stepdaughter of an Earl , living inside the bosom of the Ton .
It’s just not done .
But love will find a way .
Can’t wait to fill myself up on more of this series , there’s 3 guys in this book , secondary characters, and I’m desperate to find out how their lives turn out x

Wow! What a fabulous story!!! I loved this tale of an all consuming revenge by Maxwell Sinclair for the brutal murder of his mother and a grief stricken Vivienne Beaumont in
mourning for the loss of her mother and the chemistry between the two. Sin is a bastard born on the wrong side of the blanket who is one of three owners of a gaming hell in London’s seedy underground. Vivienne a Lady from London’s finer class. When these two meet, they experience passion and heat sizzled from the pages. Can these two opposites find their HEA? It was fun finding out but you will have to read it and see. Anabelle has a gift for writing characters and places that leap off the pages with realism. I highly recommend this book. I’m almost through with the second in this series.
