Review:Sloane is an author I started reading last year, and I am obsessed with her books. So when I saw that she was starting a brand new series, I was beyond excited!
If you’ve read Sloane’s other books you know they can be very angsty. This was less so. It was very emotional, so don’t worry about that. It’s just not on the same level as some of her other books. I won’t say much about the plot, just reading the description is all you need to know going into this.
It’s the characters that... Read more
Review:A delightful gay romance. When young beau is told the story of how theseus killed the minotaur, he cries over the minotaur. Through a comedy of idiocy he meets wolfram, a man cursed for wicked deeds. Beau sets out to break the curse. I read the story during one long too much snowy day. I'm kind of sad to put it down. It certainly cast a spell over me. Read more

Review:Lisa has created a very interesting paranormal series with some great new characters. Dakar is a strong alpha wolf shifter who believes in mates and is pleased to meet his. He is intrigued by him and wants to be mated but he is often less than supportive.
Sy is an adorable 'young' man, who wields his immense power with great maturity. I loved his character and his innocence.
I got a lot of entertainment out of the relationship between Sy and Brock.
This is an enjoyable... Read more

Review:I got an ARC in return for an honest review on NetGalley.
I am going to admit something that should make me ashamed: I picked this book solely off the cover. I do it so often that my friends are just used to me picking up books as we walk by displays in the library and leaving before we even make it back to the stacks. How could I pass up on this cover? I love it and it looks exactly like something that would drag me in. Why would a jellyfish have pillow thoughts? I was immediately drawn ... Read more
Review:A fabulously fun and gripping adventure story, with a great, sympathetic (and very diverse) cast of characters and a completely gripping narrative voice. Karen, the narrator, is just *awesome* - matter-of-fact, brave, loyal, funny, and far more impressive than she realizes - and I cheered for her arc of empowerment by the end. I also loved her sweet, fumbling romance, and Priya, her love interest, is truly wonderful too.
Still, despite how much I loved Karen from the very beginning, I fou... Read more
Review:Very good story line. Very good pace, few grammatical errors. You can're help but empathize with the main character and how unfairly he is treated. It is very much on the darker end of the spectrum. I will definitely be reading this many times in the future! Read more
Review:TJ Klune always produces a great story, but Into This River I Drown is his best book yet, and is the best book I've read this year out of any genre. This story will leave an impact on you as well. I hate to use a cliche, but it is an emotional roller coaster ride that left me in tears in some parts as well as lifting me up in others. I cannot recommend Into This River I Drown highly enough. Read more
