Review:There is nothing wrong, in principle, in beginning a story in a light mood and letting it gradually become darker and more dramatic. Transitions must be fastidiously treated, though, and that is exactly what is not working here.
While whole pages/scenes are neatly written and convincing if read by themselves they simply do not work if read in succession. Mood and characterization do not progress logically: they shift and not always consistently.
The overall impression is that of a disj... Read more
Review:Solid story with a great cast of characters. Madden is my new hero! Love the relationship buildup and the love scenes (cause that's what they were) were off the charts! Cannot wait to see where this series goes Read more
Review:Lucy Lennox does it again!! This is the most hilariously sexy and loving book so far. Noah is a breath of fresh air with his Canadian charm. He brings out the best in Luke. And the little old ladies are crazier than ever and OPAH! Is the best thing ever. Read it, love it. It will jingle your bells!! Read more
Review:I found that everyday life is really boring to read. I actually read another book while reading this one. Although it got better towards the end and the bee stuff was kinda interesting. Not one to abandon hope so soon, as this is only book one so I am hoping it will get better as I go through the next. We shall see and I will report back... Read more

Review:This book was previously released under the title, In Front of God & Everyone.
Okay, guys. I just have a weird obsession with learning about cults and just the psychology of it all. It's just really fascinating to me even though I feel terrible for people who were born and raised in them with no knowledge of a life outside of them. Josh and Caleb have lived their entire life in Paradise, a Compound out in the middle of nowhere, Wyoming where men take multiple wives, women are forced t... Read more
Review:I loved learning about Sean and Ethan. Sean struggles with losing his brother and Ethan is reminded of losing his parents at a young age. The backstory and the chemistry carry the book. This is another well written Hart and McCormack collaboration! I almost could hear both of them snickering at some of the funny scenes in the book. I love Ninja and Straighty!!! Read more
Review:I love Maximoff and Farrow so deeply you guys have knocked their story out of the park. Every time I read about these families it feels like coming home, but these guys are super special. If you haven't read about the Hales, Colbalts, or Meadows I shout at you go NOW. Read more
