Review:Audiobook review: Red Night is a paranormal romance story in which a private investigator, Samantha, stumbles upon a paranormal event only to become an unwilling subject of fascination for a vampire. An age old vendetta placed Sam in trouble but a Hunter & a pair of Vampires are there to help out. Life is not easy for anyone and danger lurks in many shapes. Oh, and the love triangle will leave you rooting for the vampire or the hunter. The narrator did a nice job. I received a free copy of t... Read more
Review:What a disappointment!!!! Having read almost all his books this one is so bad and inaccurate in military terms and dates of usage for so many of the terms, awful. If WSmith wrote this shame on him, I felt it was so badly done someone ghost wrote it for him Read more
Review:Very mediocre at best. The writing is clear. Characters are very superficially explored and the plot is completely predictable. Might be better for readers new to the "horror" genre, but for those who have "been around the block" a complete yawner. In fact, I would say that I sort of wish I hadn't looked inside. Read more
Review:Exactly as the title stimulates the reader, the fatal twist of the plot enhances your interest and intrigue at the Wisteria Tearoom. Patrice Greenwood creates an environment that makes the reader want more and not just tea. Read more
Review:Susan and her family feel blessed to find the perfect home within their budget, but something isn't right: the previous tenants left too quickly, there's problems with the house, and Susan begins to suspect they have a bedbug infestation--or worse. Bedbugs is ridiculous B-grade horror for better and worse. Its premise has potential, and Winters initially achieves a creeping, crawling, albeit transparent atmosphere of dread. It's not art but it is entertainment, consumable and thoughtless, scratc... Read more
Review:I love the way Jayne Ann Frantz nee Castle weaves all her heroes and heroines from previous books into her latest book. The characters in her books become friends and family, so wonderful to catch up on their ongoing story. Read more
Review:Harry just gets in deeper and deeper in Changes. The story bounces from one bad thing happening to another -- and another, and another, etc., etc, etc. It may have one or two extra twists over previous novels. It is an exhausting read. Still, the good guys pretty much win until the very end -- but no spoilers here. Read more

Review:a real good and entertaining read. Odd Thomas and the "good" characters are so like real people although Odd would comes across as a liitle off in real life. but that makes the stories even more entertaining and interesting. Read more
Review:A betrothal broken without explanation. A suspenseful chase by carriage and train. A country house hosting inexplicable vice. An intrepid heroine seduced by danger... And that's only the beginning! Chang is one of those characters you'll discuss with your friends. Gordon Dahlquist's mammoth (760 page) debut novel reads like a 21st-century imagining of a Victorian thriller. Pulsing with terror, erotic energy, and exhilarating invention, this is a fantastic and compelling saga -- part Wilkie Co... Read more
