Thrillers
Review:Usually, I love Alessandra Torre but for some reason, Even Money just fell flat for me. It's well written, the characters well-developed but for me personally, I just struggled to get immersed or invested in the story. The pacing felt stilted to me. And the storyline is just one that I don't normally like. I don't mind the other woman, other man aspects of it. It was the hero being married that turned me off the most I think. I'm just not a fan of cheating spouses.

Review:This is another fast paced action packed storyline with Bob Burke taking on the New Jersey mob together with his Delta friends. Not good for the bad guys and their friends. There is murder, robbery, CIA misdeeds, high tech action and some romance. There are indications there will be a book 3......great! Read more
Review:Woods writes yet another page turning, edge of you seat novel. His writing his witty, fun, entertaining with just hints of romance and mystery. You can never go wrong picking up a Stone Barrington book. Read more
Review:Hack Holland is a man whose grandfather and father cast long shadows. His grandad Hackberry Holland was the one who arrested and sent John Wesley Harden to prison after knocking him off a horse with a shot to the head with a rifle stock. His father was a politician.
Even with an illustrious grandfather, when Hack joined the Navy, he went as a Navy corpsman (medic) assigned to a marine detachment fighting the North Koreans. His position is overrun, and the survivors are transported to a Ch... Read more
Review:Great read! But Burke 's books always are....many flawed characters interacting in intricate plots, and absolutely unequaled descriptions. Where does he get all those unbelievably imaginative metaphors!!? Read more
Review:This was yet another good read from Chelsea Cain. I've read all of Chelsea's books in this series and as with all her books, I read it in one night and couldn't put it down. My only gripe about Let Me Go is that it felt as though the author was trying too hard to put vulgarity into the book. Read more
Review:The best thing about books like this is their ability to take you on a ride to exotic locations, give you a history lesson, places to google, and keep you entertained. This book did all of them. The story starts off with action and doesn't stop. The journey, the history, secret societies, it's all fun. There are some reviews that mention the banter between characters being annoying, and I agree. I just skipped it. But, hopefully in the future, the author can take it down a notch. In all, read it... Review:Hunter by Eden Summers is an entertaining book that will have you hooked from the first words until the last. The plot is engaging, well written and the characters so well written that a connection is almost instantly formed. Once you start reading this book, it's practically impossible to put it down. In what can be considered a monotonous world of romance, Eden Summers brings a fresh, gripping, up beat and at times heartwrenching perspective that is reinvigorating and exhilarating.

Review:Although I've been reading Hunter's film reviews in my local paper for years, I've never picked up any of his books. However, I have a soft spot for WWII-based thrillers, so when I stumbled across this first book of Hunter's (originally published in 1980), I figured I'd give it a whirl. Set in the waning weeks of the war in Europe, the story concerns a top-secret Nazi plan to use their top sniper and a special weapon to eliminate a mysterious target. Meanwhile, an OSS small-arms analyst in Londo... Read more
Review:Awesome!! Looking forward to #3.... Soon me hopes.
Good stuff, all written. I'm convinced that the author is, at least in comparison, Tina or Tara. All the characters are awesome. Curt needs a beat down....Jake needs to step up in the gun dept., Grayson Needs To Get That Tooth Pulled...soon. That'll Kill A Man In The apocalypse!! Id like to see how Smalls turns Out....maybe? I could go on and on I guess about all the players...but I will not.
Being a prepping fool (as I've been called) I r... Read more
