Review:When this book came out, there was an uproar about the subject. Everyone should read this book at least once. If it doesn't make you consider our lives and how we progress along the road of weapons, I worry for you. Read more
Review:Do not understand why this absolutely excellent and outstanding book is so hard to find in the U.S. One could say it is almost as rare as hen's teeth. I did find a hardcover, but wanted the cheaper and smaller paperback. Yertle The Turtle and Gertrude McFuzz ought to be part of every child's heritage now as they were back in the 60s. Thank you Amazon for making it possible for me to get copies of it. Read more

Pessoa is such a writer, a singularity among the singularities. He explores as he himself says his own subjectivity and is a person largely of his own inner world but that inner world never stops encountering and transformi... Read more
Review:First I liked the story of "Little Pea" and looked for the book. The story is fun and the picture is cute. I tried this set but I think it was better for me to buy only "Little Pea" because the details of the stories are different, though, the pattern of them are almost same. Read more
Review:Donald Hall's observations on the life he is living in his 80s are edifying, because he is so mindful as he reflects upon the details of his life. His memories of past events are intriguing, because the writers of our time spring into new focus through his commentary. Read more
