Review:Do not understand why this absolutely excellent and outstanding book is so hard to find in the U.S. One could say it is almost as rare as hen's teeth. I did find a hardcover, but wanted the cheaper and smaller paperback. Yertle The Turtle and Gertrude McFuzz ought to be part of every child's heritage now as they were back in the 60s. Thank you Amazon for making it possible for me to get copies of it. Read more
Review:As usual, the books of Dr. Seuss are entertaining to children but always contain a lesson that adults would do well to heed if they would live right. He addresses an issue that plagues human relationships and portrays an interesting response to being taken advantage of. Read more
Review:Everyone is excited for the field trip to the ice cream factory. But when the first part of the tour is super boring, Splat accidentally causes a huge mess and everyone must pitch in to help clean up.
Splat the Cat readers can be a bit zany because they are a teensy bit more worried about introducing a certain phonics concept than the plot. This one is quite crazy but still manages to have a plot that makes sense. The phonics emphasis is on the long e sound produced by different vowel ble... Read more

Review:My son loved dinosaurs, and I loved Dr Seuss books! This was a perfect book for both of us(even if written by Bonnie Worth). The added bonus was that I never got corrected by my 6-year-old for mispronouncing dino names b/c of the phonetic assistance provided by the story. I bought this most recent copy for a friend's dinosaur loving daughter. They also report to loving the book. Read more
Review:If you are thinking about buying this for the Kindle. Don't. It seems like the publisher or whoever approved the e-book version, didn't check to see how it would look on the Kindle. The font and pictures are at about 50-60% size, so you will need to pinch zoom (tablet/phone) each page or deal with the miniature size of the book on your Kindle and PC.
The description says;
This title has complex layouts and has been optimized for reading on devices with larger screens such as Kindle DX,... Read more
Review:This story is a clash between two worlds. The Kingdom of Fantasy, an of course, our friend, Geronimo Stilton. Geronimo is sucked into this world, and he goes on this quest, through many different domains in the kingdom of Fantasy. I have based many of my books on this story. Read more
Review:We normally enjoy Geronimo Stilton books but OH MY! WHAT HAPPENED????? REALLY???? I tried, and tried to get into this one. Reading it out loud to my special needs teen age so whom we usually really enjoy reading about his adventures.... but this book had no storyline, to many descriptions and didn't go anywhere! Although they were on a boat trying to go somewhere... but I lost my son after the first few chapters but kept reading thinking it would get better but then when it lost me I just had t... Read more
Review:I bought these for our homeschool and all our kids just love them! The cards are high quality, although I did laminate them for longevity. My 7 & 8 year old boys actually memorized all 100 birds by sight. Wow. My 5 and 3 year olds also enjoy playing with these and have memorized many of them! Read more
Review:I ordered several of these board books thinking I was getting a great deal. SO disappointed when they came as TINY, ABRIDGED versions of the real stories. These should be labeled better! I shouldn't have to sort through 100 reviews to realized they're not what they appear to be. We bought 4, paying almost $20 plus shipping, but only got $9 back after paying return shipping costs. Biggest rip-off ever! If I had wanted books to put in my diaper bag- these would have been great. But as it is, I jus... Read more
