Splat the Cat readers can be a bit zany because they are a teensy bit more worried about introducing a certain phonics concept than the plot. Review:My son loved dinosaurs, and I loved Dr Seuss books! This was a perfect book for both of us(even if written by Bonnie Worth). The added bonus was that I never got corrected by my 6-year-old for mispronouncing dino names b/c of the phonetic assistance provided by the story. Review:If you are thinking about buying this for the Kindle. Don't. It seems like the publisher or whoever approved the e-book version, didn't check to see how it would look on the Kindle. The font and pictures are at about 50-60% size, so you will need to pinch zoom (tablet/phone) each page or deal with the miniature size of the book on your Kindle and PC.

Review:I bought these for our homeschool and all our kids just love them! The cards are high quality, although I did laminate them for longevity.
