Review:I purchased this book because my feet hurt. Duh. I never wear high heels, I go barefoot as much as possible, and I don't wear flip-flops. This book was somewhat interesting in its explanation of anatomy, but the text was largely aimed at convincing women to stop wearing heels. Review:Most of the negative comments concerning this most remarkable book are directed at the abridgement, not the book itself. I found nothing in the abridgement offensive or distorting. The introduction is terrible and does, in fact, betray a deep misunderstanding of Spengler. But I was able to read the abridgement with pleasure (in a day, too) and then go out and buy the two-volume hardcover edition later on. Review:Steven Lachance writes like a high school girl trying desperately to scare her friends. Sentence tense jumps from present to past, sometimes within the same sentence, and punctuation seems sprinkled randomly through the prose. Review:After purchasing this book and reading it, I found out that Osho was not an upstanding individual. Although some of what he says in this book is interesting, he comes across as as the manipulative, crazy, violent, ego-maniac that he was. Look at everything he says with a very critical eye.
