Review:Some heavy issues and decisions in this one, and I ended up in tears, both the happy and sad kind (so be warned). ?? I loved the writer’s ability to put the reader IN the situations and really make them think about how they’d handle a myriad of dilemmas. Great characters, emotional angst, but in the end it’s a question of faith and forgiveness and how difficult those things are at times. Simply lovely writing here. Looking forward to reading more from this author...happy I discovered her! 4.5/5⭐... Read more
Review:I really enjoy Regency Era romance and this author did not disappoint me! The storyline was well written and on point, the plot flowed smoothly throughout the entire book and the characters were so well developed that as I turned each page I became more and more invested as the relationship evolved between Robert and Georgiana! Review:History interests me so I liked the portrayal of a governess' !ife. So isolated. I was reminded of Downton Abbey (which also has a servant Daisy). The total meanness toward the new governess never was totally explained to my satisfaction. History buffs will love this book. Read more

Eric is returning home after a change in his life and hoping to figure things out; however his home is not the same as his father is converting it into a bed and breakfast. BJ is in charge of the renovations and Eric and her so exactly click at first. BJ is dealing with things from her past and Hope Harbor may just be the place where both of these individuals need to be at this tim... Read more
Review:Loved the series--I teach about pioneers in my third grade classroom, so this was right up my alley. :) Because it's a series, you get a lot of reminders about the past experiences of the characters, and the author gets better and better about not including as much of the past with each novel in the series. Review:These books are incredible, well-written, and dear to my heart. I feel like I know the Baxter family personally. Karen Kingsbury is an extremely gifted author. In spite of the crazy drama, a Christian worldview is clearly presented. I could easily give this series five stars, but I have one reservation. There is just too much intense emotion and needless suffering. I felt exhausted at the end of the first book! I felt like I suffered with Kari, Tim and Ryan through that whole ordeal, and ...
