Review:This book is pretty comprehensive in outline format and an excellent resource for review and to glean buzzwords and such before tests.
However, to really understand material, I would not recommend this as a primary text. Read more

Medical Terminology for Health Professions - Spiral bound Version
Medical Terminology for Health Professions - Spiral bound Version

Review:This book lays out all the information well, I think. Uses color coded words for specific things, and at the beginning of each chapter it gives all the root words. Tough class to take, definitely plan on putting in hours of study time! Read more

Clinical Pathophysiology Made Ridiculously Simple

Review:I don't have the credentials for an authoritative review, but M.D.'s and med students love this book and so do I as a pathophysiology book. It explains in real easy to read terms what my textbook by Barbara Gould definitely cannot do. Read more

I hate to complain but this is not the first time I have had this type of disappointment with a book from Amazon. It's like the books are printed to order on a poor quality printer. The Surprising Connections Between Disease and Longevity (P.S.)

Initially, it seems to me, science likes to simplify everything, believing mutations are rare and random. This book clarifies the role of our genes' ability to adapt to different environments and how some genetic variations that seem to be curses are actually the mechanisms humans use to be able to survive in certain ... Calculate with Confidence (Morris - Calculate with Confidence)

Review:First Semester Nursing student. I have got to say this book was great. It explained material better than the instructor. The instructor broke the book into 3 tests within 1 month and I have got to say I am very grateful for the detailed information in this book. I finished with 2 A's(100's) and 1 B (87.) I would highly recommend this book for all first semester nursing students. Read more
