Review:I thought this was an enjoyable book. It lacked a bit in transitions, but other than that I thought it was written well. This is a good book for middle school aged children or as a bad time story for younger kids. I myself read the book in a matter of hours. It was a splendid read; simple and sweet! Read more

Review:Wish I had that book when I was teaching Kindergarten. It's a great book for kids as the other reviewers can attest. It's also a reminder for adults that there are reasons behind a child's behavior. It's just wonderful that our hero, David, came up with his own solutions. The website references were helpful. It is fun, entertaining, humerous and insightful for everyone. Loved it. Read more
Review:book 2 in the series, Hiccup learns that the popularity he earned from saving Berk from the Sea Dragon is shot lived. He and his fellow Vikings are being taught how to be pirates (it involves things like fighting at sea, spitting, and basic burglary) when they discover a coffin containing a man named Alvin the Poor-but-Honest Farmer and a riddle to the treasure of Grimbeard the Ghastly, an ancestor of Hiccup's who is viewed as the world's greatest pirate. Yet another person Hiccup can't quite se... Read more
Review:Helping kids understand the philosophy of beating yourself up and holding yourself back by making up reasons why you can't do something. Give your child a way to have confidence and avoid a lazy irresponsible mentality. Buy it, no excuses, it's worth the cost and effort. Read more
Review:Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I have been reading and following Wayne Dyer for years---and our grandchildren have a copy of his all his other children's books. This precious book poetically explains a profound truth that all of God's children throughout the world--no matter our age, deserve to know and feel. It would be good to memorize it and repeat it every day. I ordered it on my Kindle because I wanted it as soon as I saw it. The illustrations are lovely and I can hardly wait to purcha... Read more

Review:Some folks were born to be different from everyone around them no matter how hard they try to fit in.
What a creative premise! As soon as I read the blurb, I couldn’t wait to find out why a family of narwhals gave birth to a baby unicorn and what would happen to Kelp once he realized that he wasn’t like anyone in his community. The beauty of this premise lay in how many ways it can be read. It worked both as a charming fairy tale as well as an example of how to live happily for children w... Read more
Review:I think I remember why I bought "Those Darn Squirrels" yesterday. I'm looking for a book to read to my son's class, and am skipping through reviews on kids' books on Amazon, and came across this book. We have some bird feeders up and love squirrels and grumpy grandpa types :), the title was funny, the reviews were good, the summary seemed like it would be up our alley and the graphics looked very humorous and appealing. Tonight I read the book to dear son on kindle at bedtime, and we LOVED this ... Read more
