Review:Dawson Reed has been released from prison, ultimately not charged with the murder of his adopted parents. Sadie Harris, in the midst of a contentious divorce from her slime-ball husband, Sly, agrees to work for Dawson. She's helping to clean up the house Dawson inherited so he can bring his mentally-disabled sister home.
I won't post any spoilers, but suffice it to say, Sadie and Dawson have a hard road ahead of them. Novak continues to write books with interesting characters. Can't wait ... Read more
Review:I thought the book was very enjoyable, but on with it. Get to the point and move. Could have been cut down by 50-100 pages..the twist at the end was great..Nice job. I will continue to read this author. Read more
Review:Wasn't sure I would like this story...especially as it was a short one and I don't typically like novellas. But the story is written well and managed to hold my interest. The emotions were real enough and believable. I am now curious as to Kyle's story and will probably read the series to see how it all pans out. Read more
Review:I am usually a big Brenda Novak fan anxiously awaiting her next book. This book, however, was a huge disappointment. Rather than grabbing my attention and making me not want to put it down this book took me forever to finish. Now I will think twice before automatically buying Brenda Novak's books. I liked Rod but not India. Their romance was too rushed and she was too weak against her in-laws while they were caring for her daughter. All together a less than interesting book. Read more
Review:Kept me on pins and needles until I finished it! Even though things just don't always go the way we want them to , we still can't take the law into our own hands. But I still enjoyed reading it to the very end!

The author did a good job on making you feel the characters, there was a lot of depth to them. I will definitely be reading more of her work. So glad I was able to receive an advanced copy. Read more
Review:So beautifully written. CH is an amazing writer but this book touches your soul. I wanted to hug Graham and Quinn and tell them that they are each other’s miracles. Some stories touch you to the core, this was one for me. Read more
Review:Fans of Alexx Andria's Buchanan series get an introduction to the East Coast side of the family. If Sutton Buchanan is considered the family ambassador, then readers are in for a treat.

He could have any woman, yet he is fascinated by Elizabeth Downing. Innocent Ms. Downing has hit a rough patch in life. When she gets an offer from Sutton, she... Read more
