Women's Fiction
Review:I really like this series. There are sections that are slightly repetitive but the building of this relationship is beautiful to watch. I can't wait for the third book in the series. No pressure Mrs. Feehan, but... hurry up. :-) Read more
Review:I have read everything I've ever found written by Christine Feehan. Some I've enjoyed more than others. But I can state unequivocally that she is a truly gifted writer. Judgement Road is technically the first book in the new Torpedo Ink series. She has actually brought three of her series together in a seamless fashion. In this new series we get to know a group of people that were reared to be killers. They were abused and tortured from childhood. But they survived by banding together. They ar... Read more
Review:Christine Feehan did a great job writing this book. She pulled in everyone from the other Sea Haven series storyline plus the current storyline series. I loved it! I wonder if she will continue to do another spin off from this series like the other. Read more
Review:Loved the book. Big fan of all of Mrs. Feehan's books. Although, this book "seemed" to start off slow; it. then picked up, real quick. But when it picked up, I'd missed a some things, like the plane ride with both of them on it . . . Also, when both of them was in denial of a relationship, especially him . . . Real convincing, then he's doing a three sixty and
saying, "There's no one else for me?" It was just hard to keep up/get in the rhythm of the book, in the beginning. It got better as I ... Read more
Review:I gave it 5 stars because I loved the book, the people become real people and you want the story to go on. I read it in less than a day because I couldn't put it down. I love the authors way of bringing each character to life and making you feel like you know them. I've read all of her Nashville series and anxiously waiting for #9, she's a great author and will definitely read more of her books. Read more
Review:Such a good read. I loved Callum--the kind of man anyone would be lucky to have. Lilah's character was great. I appreciated that Kelly made her strong and independent--though I found her to be a bit stuck up (but still very well done.) The banter between the two characters was captivating--from their first meeting, I fell in love with their conversation and was hooked. The book is well-written and sweet, though some of the scenes went on a little longer than they should have--in my opinion. I de... Read more
Review:Will the real Hattie Hoffman please stand up!!
Hattie, multifaceted and complex character who really is a master manipulator whose skills match her acting ability. A senior in high school, she's determined to blow town after she graduates. Her problem is she is killed before she gets that chance.
The story is masterfully told via three characters, Del town sheriff and friend of Hattie's parents, Peter the English professor who finds himself in a place he never thought he'd be and H... Read more
Review:Rex likes to just put it all out there, “oh, I’m up for the task, Cupcake, don’t worry.” Again, that name. One brow arches as he grasps the edge of the door and eyes me up and down. “I’m up for a lot of things. Just sayin'.” Now normally Rex isn't bashful, or nervous but there are times when his hand gets caught in the cookie jar, "the old man’s been behind us for God only knows how long, and must've seen the way I’m practically butt-effing his granddaughter, fully-clothed or not." I loved this ... Read more
