I had not read anything by Sara before but I definitely will again. I loved the completeness of her characters and the humor and heat she was able to bring out. It was a nice detour away from the typical "duke" story and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Read more

Review:I really enjoyed this book. It was funny as well as an adventure and romance. Alice has broken up with her boyfriend though they have non refundable tickets for a trip down the river and both say they aren't going so Alice's ex Patrick gives his ticket to his friend Elliott who is a writer and a Baron. Review:I just finished reading this book again. MacAlister is an excellent writer and has a wonderful sense of humor. I only wish I was that quick. Review:Enjoyed reading this book. It's a different take on an old story. I really liked the puca character. The chemistry between Logan and Trina was amazing. The downside of Trinas character is she was constantly whining about being left behind even when she acknowledged that was for the best and also constantly questioning Logan's motives. Read more

Review:Fannie Flagg has written another big hit! I have read all of her books and always look forward to the next one. Her stories are homey and depict life and times that seem to be lost now. She has a "down home" style and tells stories about very colorful characters. I hope she continues to write in her own style...with humor and charm. Read more
