Review:I read this whole series back-to-back-to-back. I can't even honestly say I remember which book contains which events. The story is written with so much overlapping action that there is no good stopping place between reading sessions, not even between books! The quips stay sharp and the action sequences never slow down. Read more
Review:I didn't expect to like this book. By the time I finished it, I wanted more. There were lots of reminders of the Iron Druid books by Kevin Hearne. The book was easy enough to read the pace kept me turning pages. The "druid" in this story is likable, while trying to distance himself from his heritage in a world where no one will let him. This book has an aged mentor, werewolves, Fae, and gnomes. What could go wrong? Well, how about an inner demon? Read more
Review:I've loved reading The Iron Druid Chronicles. The conversations with the Irish Wolfhounds throughout the series is awesome. I have two amazing friends who are Irish Wolfhounds, and I can see them having these conversations. Always makes me chuckle. Thanks Kevin for a great series, and for sharing your talent with my heart. Read more
Review:No Strings Attached is my very first book by author Julie Moffett. I was a bit nervous reading this book for a couple of reasons. One - I am normally not a mystery reader. The blurb looked interesting and since no books in my preferred genre were demanding my attention, I thought I would try something different. Two - and this one is the biggie, I was jumping into a series that is well established. It can be very hit or miss not starting with a series from the beginning. Lucky for me, not only d... Read more
Review:This is a promising start to a new comtempory series. We have the requisite hot tattooed gentlemen but with lots of great twists. He is kind. He took care of his dying mother and his just returned from war brother. He is not a bad boy and while not a virgin by a long stretch he isn't a man ho and does not treat women like objects until he meets the one. Best of all, he puts his life on hold so the heroine can achieve her dreams. I give you, Jace, awesome hero.
The heroine is smart and fu... Read more
Review:After reading previous books, it 'itches' to wait until the new release. Once you have it, you're read it without break. R. Riordan's books take you into his world so you forget everything. Now it itches again, waiting for the sequel. Read more
Review:What a great idea for a book! Amy and Dan are brother and sister and they have to make a big choice. They can either collect 1 Million Dollars each, or so on an adventure. They decide to go on the adventure, and they had no idea what they're in for. They're involved in a world wide race. The only way they can know where to go is to solve clues that are hard and very dangerous. Many times, their lives are in danger. The people who are racing against them are member of their own family, and m... Read more
Review:I absolutely LOVE this series!
I read the Abandoned a while ago, and finally got around to this one. Note:I accidently bought The Kingdom instead of The Restorer, but it didn't matter! I was sucked in and finished it in 2 days. This was awesome. Read more
Review:I read voraciously, usually one book a day, two if the book is under 400 pages. That being said, sometimes it takes a couple of books to make a book series one I would want to continue reading. Some don't make it past the first chapters. This book immediately grabbed my interest, never losing it. I knew by the last twenty pages I was going to be disappointed that the story was great, the characters more than likeable, and a direction I wanted to continue to follow... however that last page read,... Review:I loved this book, the author does a wonderful job of quickly drawing the reader into the world of the Keepers/Reapers without loosing focus or turning the romance into a farce as it blooms. Yes, the romance is there- but it doesn't completely overtake the plot. The reactions of the characters mingled love/hate relationship ring true even as you secretly root for them to be together. I will definitely be reading the next book. Read more
