Review:In the category of ‘judge a book by its cover’, I have to say, the cover of Honor & Roses is beautiful. With no actual face revealed, the image of the heroine, Lady Cecily, looking over a garden gate toward, not a garden, but an entire countryside, one gets and idea of the honor of the Lady and that she takes her responsibilities to heart. Review:What a great beginning to the Highland Guard novels! The historical background was fascinating, and the concept of a Highland Guard fits seamlessly into the turbulent times. Review:I enjoyed this book. Although a bit dragging at times with needless descriptions of events. The plot keep me reading to see the results of all characters searching for the truth for the Duke's past. I did rather enjoy the outcome. I do read all that this author has written.
