Review:A wonderful, lovely story of finding true love, in a unique setting. There are lots of fallen angel stories out there, but this one is more true to life than most, with beauty and strife. This is my favorite Elizabeth Hunter novel so far. Read more
Review:A great prequel to Jude Watson's Jedi Quest series. This story decribes what happened between Star Wars episode III and IV. Every Star Wars fan should read this book.
The people included in this story are Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ferus Olin, Boba Fett and many others. In the story, Obi-Wan is living on Tatooine and hears that former Jedi apprentice Olin survived the killing of Jedi knights by Darth Vader. This book describes Obi-Wan's quest to find Olin before being killed by bounty hunters.
Review:This book follows the 16 years of making a dictionary. However, it is a translation, which is fine, but it will jump suddenly. At one point 15 years, or maybe 13 years. And if you are not paying close attention, you wonder how you got there. The last chapter is thoughtful and precise. But apparently, the author does not care for relationships or character development Read more
Review:Very likeable characters. I wasn't exactly sure where the story was headed at first, but stuck to it, and was soon completely immersed in the story. I think this story could span a pretty large age range. Early teens on up. I also think that with the age range, different ages will take different messages from this story. I think reading this book will leave you wanting more. It did me. Read more
Review:It was the end of empires and the beginning of nations. The Pope and Garibaldi struggle in Italy; Napoleon III vies with the Jacobins. The Jesuits and Freemasons nibble at the edges. Prussia threatens; communism looms. These troubling times are made more treacherous by forgeries and fakes. [We need you to spy for us; this is what you will find; create the documents that prove it.] Dalla Piccola and Captain Simonini, aided by a Narrator, struggle to remember their life in the pages of a diary. Review:Very puerile, scientifically incorrect in many aspects, British nco's do not refer to soldiers, marine's, special forces as "blokes" and "mates".
There is no concept of Military discipline throughout this mess.
Incredibly bad ending. Read more
Review:A story that is intricate and woven. What a pleasure it was to read. I chose the book because of Paris but I has also previously read and enjoyed the Lake House. This is definitely an author I will follow. Read more
Review:4.5 Cranky Stars
Myla Rose just had the impossible news dropped on her. She’s with child and the father is a spoiled brat who just ups and walks away. This should break a girl but not Myla Rose. She’s tough and resilient which is a trait she gets from her Gram. Her world explodes when she literally rams a buggy into the handsome Cash Carson down at The Piggly Wiggly. She is hesitant because hey she is with child what man would want that but she couldn’t be more wrong.

Review:The characters were so real. Being a West Virginia gal, it was as though I knew her and she was my best friend. Very well written in the sense that it is not predictable nor are events so far fetched that would make you say "Yeah right". Read more
