Marketing & Sales
Review:For someone getting into these topics for the first time, the book will be interesting and readers might end up reading more detailed and better books to learn about the topics.
Having read several really good books, for me personally this one seemed really oversimplified and trying to put as many buzz words and topics in less text. So much, that I barely managed to make my self read it until the end. Read more
Review:Complete step by step instructions on how to format and market your e-book without spending any money. Jason starts by telling you all the things he did wrong when he first tried to market his e-book and how he just wasted his money. Review:Jeffrey makes selling much simpler than other books out there. Just keep it simple: listen more than talk; make friends first, don't be pushy ...
Would have given it 5 Stars if there was just a tad more meat in it on how to handle objections. Read more
Review:Schmidt makes speculations about the future that aren't based on any scientific basis. The speculations aren't even original, like 3D holograms. I didn't find any thought-provoking ideas or exciting insights into the future of technology. The authors also seem to keep pushing the idea that technology makes our lives better and it comes off as highly biased and sometimes like a sales pitch. Read more
Review:Very good resource for anyone getting into adwords. Required reading for anyone who manages large or multiple campaigns.
I've always considered myself to be pretty good at managing ppc accounts, but I discovered I was making some mistakes with a few of my negative keyword match types. Review:Reviewing this book is sort of like reviewing Mt. Rushmore, or the battle of Gettysburg or George Washington. Because it's monumental.
It literally changed the way the public thought about advertising. And it actually changed the way people inside advertising thought about themselves. It definitely changed the kind of people who would do advertising. And it even got Roger Sterling to write his own book.
Written in short bursts - shorter often than the copy he preferred to run in pr... Read more
Review:This is an excellent book. The author makes some pretty earth shaking assertions, but being a scientist he supports them well with studies he either performed himself or by referring to the ones of other scientists. The book is very easy and fun to read. By reading it, you will learn much about yourself, your friends, society and business in general.
The author's framework includes several dimensions. The first one is that good feelings about good decisions weight much less on our psy... Read more
