Review:If you are looking for action, look elsewhere. This is full of talk, talk, talk. Yet barely moved the plot forward. All could have been done in half the pages. If you enjoyed her early books this will disappoint. Read more
Review:I believe I have read most of Catherine Coulter's books. I'm enjoying the 'A Brit in the FBI ' series. At the being of the book she thanked someone for the proofreading, there were more errors the proof reader didn't catch. But all things considered I really enjoyed it! Read more
Review:I like this book of hers because the main character is Sergeant Havers, instead of Lynley, Helen, Deborah, and Simon. Don't get me wrong, I think they are good chracters but after so many books it gets boring. Also she includes a bit of her past. This was the first of her books I read and I throughly enjoyed it. After reading it I rushed out to get the rest of her books and read them as fast as possible. I think her writing style is superb and that she has a great narritive quality. I ... Read more
Review:Nikki and Ollie have been hinted at in the background of the other Fight For Me novels. There was definite chemistry between them, but something kept them from crossing that line between friends and lovers, and kept them barely hanging on at friends.
When Oliver Preston’s sister went missing 14 years ago, his life changed forever. He was tasked with protecting her and one night changed everything, he failed at his duty. The guilt that ate at him caused him to pull away from anything that ... Read more
Review:Offensive. Ghastly. I returned this story and got a refund. This short went beyond Anita's usual naval gazing and hand wringing about her relationships. The author has her heroine involving a four-year old in the hysterics of her alternate lifestyle and rubbing the noses of all her mundane/ human friends in her relationship choices. It is a good thing Anita doesn't plan to have children because she would feel compelled, as she does in the case of the four-year old Matthew, to make a big dea... Read more
Review:Explosive chemistry, sexy as sin characters, hilarious, wry banter, and more "real" moments between characters then I've seen from other authors. Hudson and Felicia's story was the perfect compliment to Sawyer and Clover's...and second in a can't resist series. This couple's story does not disappoint in delivering burning up the pages and intense in and out of the bedroom action.
This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest... Read more
Review:Just as fairytales have darkness in their midst, often novels with whimsical titles have a wee bit as well. Such is the case with Lauren Weisberger’s book WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LULULEMONS. That’s not to say that it isn’t a riot, because it is. in Greenwich, three women come together, each with different backgrounds, each strong in their own right. Each struggling with something. One, something major.
Karolina, a former model, married to a senator, soon to announce his run for president. Arr... Read more
Review:"Atticus" is written by Sawyer Bennett, and it is a stand alone novel. It features Hazel Roundtree and her dog, Atticus.
I simply adore this novel! It was so heartwarming, so beautiful... just everything you want in a story that will bring a smile to your face. Normally when I read stories, it's either in the 1st person, 3rd person, or the different point of views of the hero and heroine. In this story, it's a little different! We get the point of views from both Hazel and Atticus. That, ... Read more
Review:Say No More is written entirely from Halo's point of view. Halo is a herding dog (I think she is an Australian Shepherd).
For me, it was sort of an Incredible Journey story, but there's more to it than that. Halo is not bound by the limitations humans are, so consequently, she can see, hear, and even communicate with ghosts. But there's more to it than that. There's Halo's relationships with the living as well, which are profound and life affirming, but hold on, there's more to it than th... Read more
Review:This book was beautifully written! I couldn’t put it down! The loved the emotions and the love between the couple was so beautiful and including the relationship between Cameryn and shayne just proves you don’t have to be a parent of the child to love them deeply. Read more
