Review:I love those women who have fallen between the cracks of law and order, these weekend warriors, these avengers, who will leave no stone unturned to seek justice for those for whom Lady Justice has turned her head. I can just picture Myra, who is so precious and Charles who is the genious of the Sisterhood. What a motley crew and what wonders they have done. I'm reading the whole series. I want more, more, more. Read more
Review:I fall in love since the beginning! Well written, easy to follow, description of the situations good enough to picture in your mind without to much details to get bored. Unexpected situations keep me always waiting for more! It is long so I highly recommend take breaks to enjoy it more. Read more
Review:I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
I’ve read several books written by River Laurent; she has done an excellent job at writing another great book. She is one of my favorite authors; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the characters. Read more
Review:With so many erotic romance novels following the same thread, Giving It Up changes the pace with a darker compelling theme that keeps the story riding on an intense emotional nerve. Written in first person, Author Amber Lin takes the reader inside the mind of a young woman struggling to keep her life together for her and her daughter while trying to control the hold her past demons have on her body and her mind. Only looking for a man to give her a night of sexual pleasure, Allie meets Colin, a... Read more
Review:Ms. Cardello is a decent writer. However, the plotline to this story is yet another retelling of Beauty and the Beast, the single most popular plotline in romance fiction. The Heroine is defending her cherished thing (dream, parent, sister, house, business, whatever) and Beast is trying to (acquire, destroy, change, make fun of, whatever) it.
Beast is suitably wrong (too capitalistic, too much into other women, too hurt by previous events) to be anything but a pain in the neck, but Beaut... Read more
Review:This book was a surprise from the very beginning. I have watched several seasons of the reality shows depicted in the subject of the story and was surprised with the direction the author took the story. This was my first rea by this author and I was hooked by her ability to keep the entertainment through the entire book. I think anyone who gives this book a try will really enjoy the read. Read more
Review:Good read, intriguing story line that holds your interest. Nice romance book without all the hype about "alpha", "dominant" or "processive" male lead. Story moved along with only a couple of times appearing to drag. Overall - not bad. Will read the next one in the series... Read more
Review:This was a cute, though unrealistic and predictable. The characters were fun, but the setting was sort of bland. As someone who lived in Sacramento for a decade, I hoped for more recognizable places and I was disappointed. Read more
Review:Ugh. Shallow. Trite. Couldn't make it past a few chapters. The "attractive teenage schoolgirl dressed all in white spends the night in the gulag for handing out communist papers" pretty much was an intolerable bore. Read more
