Review:I LOVE this cookbook. Incredibly healthy, super easy! I am learning to make my most favorite food on the planet...Ethiopian. I am a yogi and have been making Kitchari for years. I absolutely love the one in this book the best. I cannot recommend this book more. This one, I will never get rid of. Read more

Review:One of my go to cookbooks. I have yet to find a recipe we don’t like. There are a few that challenge my love of lazy cooking, but that is found in every book. I would buy this again, and have recommended it to others. Read more
Review:I listen to the podcast, so I had pre-ordered the book. It has some really great information about plant based diets, especially for athletes. I haven't tried the recipes yet but I'm sure that I will. They are pretty straight forward, not too many crazy ingredients. The thing that bugs me is the "no oil" option. I know that it's not just a No Meat Athlete thing, but I view it as extremely extreme. They don't preach it, but they include options. So I guess I can shut up and do the version o... Read more

Review:I’ve cooked nearly every recipe in this book and nearly all of them are perfection. Great meals worth not so hard to find ingredients. I do cut back on the mount of oil used on each recipe but that’s no biggie to me. I find the intro and notations for each recipe quite useful. If you are vegan or just trying to get into this lifestyle slowly this book is a must. Hope you like it as much as we do. Read more
Review:I did recipe testing for this book, so I have cooked a LOT of these recipes. They are easy for home cooks to follow, use primarily ingredients people (at least vegans) will already have at home, and are accompanied by so many beautiful pictures! The pictures are what really make me excited to cook a recipe and I'm happy that there are so many. My favorite recipes are the king pao lentils, especially when made using the date-sweetened teriyaki sauce, and the peanut butter blender cake. I made... Read more
Review:Thug Kitchen 101 is my 2nd Thug Kitchen book and I love them all. Recipes are fresh and innovative and very easy to follow. Techniques and terminology that might not be common knowledge are thoroughly explained. Photographs and funny captions of both the completed dishes and California landmarks guide you through the book. I'm not a Vegan but these dishes are tasty, creative and relatively nutritious. Creamy Squash Mac & Cheese with Hot Sauce & Breadcrumbs along with the Dan Dan Noodles... Read more
