Review:Silas Marner is a quick, short, beautiful, and touching read. Yes, high school freshman, once upon a time the English language had elegance and style. It once not only told what happened, but evoked emotion and sentiment. Being bored my genius says more about the reader than the author. If you find this classic boring, rest assured the failing is yours. Read more
Review:I love all of Kristen Ashley's books and series but this Unfinished Heroes series is the best of the best. I loved Knight but I adored Creed. This book is more instense than her other books so if you are not into intense sex scenes dont read. The story is beautiful and sad at the same time but I love how the author develops it and how they both come out at the end winners. A must read and I cant wait till the next book in the series. Thanks Kristen for another great read and please keep doing wh... Read more
Review:I usually enjoy reading about the alpha males and the woman that tame them in Kristen Ashleys books. I have even reread her books. Unfortunately The Time in Between is not a keeper for me I will be deleting this title from my Kindle.
The male lead was beyond selfish and a hypocrite. The female lead was weak and stupid. There was an attempt to make her come across as compassionate and giving she came across as stupid and weak. there was nothing likable about either character. The back story... Read more
Review:This book was about two great love stories. The heartache of losing a loved one and the happiness of finding peace and the love strength to push through to the best part of yourself finding hope and family Read more
Review:I liked this book ,but sentences were often jerky and difficult to understand. The characters liked to talk in circles. I had to reread long sentences just to figure out what the author was trying to say. The sheriff's dialogue was worst. Sentences were not smooth taking longer to read and bogging down your reading rhythm. He sounded ,often times, like an educated hick.
The plot was entertaining and predictable. So if you can deal with this writing style I would recommend this book. Read more
Review:I know that this author does not do grovel very well but I was expecting at least some level of the H and his family attempting to make amends for treating the h so horribly for seven years. I actually went back and reread the start of the book to make sure that I didn't loose any apology/grovel. This book was so hypocritical I could not finish it. I was so annoyed at the numerous times that the H stated that he didn't want "easy" when that was exactly what this h was. After a few half-heart pr... Read more
Review:like I did. I have read ALL of KA's books now, but I put off reading the fantasy ones. I didn't think they would be as good as her others, or that I would like this style of book. I was so wrong! Everything she writes is awesome! Read more
Review:I'm a big fan of Ms. Ashley-- she lets it rip and keeps on going it a satisfying complex weave of relationship issues, personal insecurities and harrowing suspenseful events. But here not so much. Our hero and heroine are extremely likable. Hannah, is a delightful Everygirl who finally gets to be with the man of her dreams and can hardly believe it. Raid is an Alpha good guy with burning issues who finds his reward after a hard life. But as others have mentioned in their reviews, there just wasn... Read more
