Whispersync for Voice
Review:Loved it a lot
Another author who manages to make you both afraid of and cheering for the heroine of the series. This is a great series in my favouright type of fiction. There are three writers who I think are amongst the best in the world in this genre and Ms Frost is one. Read more
Review:It's great to see how Bones lived before Kat. Reading this puts their relationship into a whole new light. I recommend reading it after the other books to really appreciate Bones. But starting the series here might work too. Read more
Review:Thackeray, William Makepeace. Vanity Fair
Once Vanity Fair was once an optional choice for A Level GCSE students, but has for many years been replaced by more modern, shorter and more ‘relevant’ texts such as Lord of the Flies or Of Mice and Men. This is understandable but a pity because ealier texts have much to offer, historically as well as culturally. Apart from offering the reader a good story Vanity Fair is an amusing look into the Regency world in which social positions are rigid... Read more
Review:Not a fan personally... Was very predictable in where they went with everything. I had a hard time staying interested and following along with the story and only finished it since I had paid for it. I thought the ending was a bit abrupt as well but to each his own.... Read more
Review:This book is a combination of the first three stories in the Preternatural Affairs series. Each story is creative, snarky, and fun. The characters are consistent but do show some growth from the beginning to the end of these three books. If you're looking for offbeat supernatural entertainment, this will be right up your alley. Review:Normally this is not my genre. I have decided that I need to branch out and stop just thinking in action adventure and mystery.
This was a fun read. Moved along with good pace and kept me involved all the way through.
Keep it up Kate, I am looking forward to the next one. Read more
Review:Saiya does her best to help out her friends, but when someone is kidnapped, she will do everything she can to help save them. However, when a spying mission goes wrong and a Dark Elf discovers her things go from bad to worse, and she must figure it out before it is too late.
This book was really interesting. I enjoyed the heroine a whole lot. She was brave, fierce, and extremely awesome. Add in a pretty awesome hero to the mix, and you've got a great Urban Fantasy. I really thought this b... Read more
Review:I am always happy to read a new book by Gena Showalter. Forgiveness is so important in real life also. I like the beginning of this new series. Kenna and Dane have so much potential together. Dane had to change so much and really look inside himself. Even though he was older Kenna was more mature than him. A few surprises. The secondary characters also contributed to the story. Read more
Review:This book is incredible "on" target. It is so insightful and helpful. The author has a way of conveying such specifically accurate realistic applications for people that have lost themselves to an inner "nice guy"- one of the best books I have ever read. Read more
Review:No good, compelling characters. All about events, like an historical docudrama. Trying too hard to be realistic. Didn't really get anywhere until the negotiations with Jock & Charlie were under way. Read more
