Review:I loved this book. I have found the reading on this was quick and capturing. The details the author used and sequence of events kept me interested and unable to put down. I also loved her other series The Judgment of six. I can not wait for the next 2 releases. Read more
Review:The ending of the "His Dark Materials" trilogy leaves the reader craving for more of the story. This new book does not disappoint.
"La Belle Sauvage" tells the tale of how Lyra came to Jordan College at Oxford, and how a certain important object came into the hands of her caretakers there. Yet, the story is only incidentally about Lyra as an infant, focusing on those whose purpose is to keep her safe and deliver her to sanctuary, and those others who try to prevent that outcome. Pullman's... Read more
Review:Usually, I read books for two reasons. One is because they are recommended to me and the other is because I reach a point where I like the author enough to stay on top of things that they write. This is the fourth Dima Zales book that I have read and I can officially say that, because of this book, he has been added to my list of authors to look for.
In the other three books that I have read, my complaint was that some things were just too predictable. That is absolutely not the case in... Read more
Review:The book has been formatted professionally- which made the reading experience much more enjoyable. The characters were well developed and realistic- their structure was complex and emotions were well delivered. The book definitely had that force, pushing the reader to read on. The climaxes were intense and plot unpredictable. The concept was unique and the world building was heavy. It gave me the feeling I was actually there. In short; I enjoyed the story and would recommend it to other readers. Read more
Review:What a delightful read! The story of Bernie's struggles are so heartwarming, you feel yourself empathizing with a God. Now this is a far cry from our feelings of the Zeus type Gods. I love the way the story starts out as a simple story of a struggling young God trying to follow in the steps of his famous father without the help of said father. You feel Bernie's character developing as you follow along all of his mistakes and you can't help but admire him for standing for what he believes in. Ev... Read more
Review:In Gary Paulsen's novel "Hatchet" Brian Robeson is stranded in the wild and rescued after 54 amazing days.
But what if he hadn't been rescued? What if his luck hadn't held. What if he had t face his deadliest enemy - WINTER? In "Brian's Winter" those aspects of Brian's adventure are explored. He suffers from lack of clothing, hunger (once more), numerous animal encounters (not all pleasant), a battle with a wild animal and much more.
This is a very interesting and exciting book. ... Read more

Review:Great book! It kept me entertained the whole time. I started reading before bed and figured I would only read for a little bit. But I ended up staying up until four in the morning (on a work night) determined to finish this book. Read more
Review:This book was horrible. I listen to audio books daily and this is the first review I've written. If I can save one person from wasting their hard earned money on this book, I've helped. I've listened to several YA books but this is so juvenile and unrealistic, it's just sad. I listened to the whole, painful book just to write a honest review. I really don't understand how it received so many five star reviews. Buyer beware! Read more
Review:Beautifully written. I've read several books about self-harming; however, I never could grasp why people chose to do this for relief. Glasgow's writing, full of imagery and strong diction, helped me understand. Would definitely recommend this book! Read more
