Review:First off with the positives. Both characters were likeable, the story wasn't too mired in feuding gods, it was a nice easy read with her characteristic banter and I actually read it through quickly and enjoyably. There was less heavy swearing (why do they have to have foul mouths to be considered Alpha Males?), the hero didn't spend the ENTIRE book thinking about sex and how to get her into bed (one of her previous books was like that) and we didn't have a lot of 'gods' interaction. Review:I understand it was not supposed to be a "novel-sized" book, as others have said, but it seems to be a trend (with the exception of Ash's book)with SK- shorter stories with less ability of the reader to become immersed in the characters. I miss stories like the 1st 4-5 books of the series, when I couldn't put the thing down at night! Review:Dark Side of the Moon I have waited for what seemed like forever of this book. Maybe my expectations were just too high. Ravyn and Sarah are really cool characters. And he is unique among the other dark hunters out there. But at the end of the book I just felt let down.
