Opal (A Lux Novel Book 3)
Opal (A Lux Novel Book 3)

Review:according to Daemon and right he is... this book had just the right amount of momentum, intrigue and romance that managed the timeline of this story superbly. I Loved this book and I adore Daemon!! I liked Katy much better in this book than the second book. And the ending although not a surprise to me was very suspenseful. Props to the writer to come up with a very detailed and intricate storyline and characters. A vivid world that really pulls you in for an intense ride. I love books like that ... Read more

Cursed
Cursed

Review:Frusturating! If I could sum this book in one word. The only reason that I'm giving it two stars is that the start of the book showed a lot of promise, too bad it failed.

Nutshell:
Some people have super powers. Girl is saved by sister with super power but kind of backfired on her and if she touches you, you'll die. Ends up in a house with other kids with super powers and tries to figure things out about herself.

I started out liking this book. Main character was put in a r... Read more

Origin (A Lux Novel)

Review:HOLY ALIEN BABIES EVERYWHERE!

*CONTAINS SPOILERS* (But I try really hard to be vague)

I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked up Origin. I have read series where my OTP are separated for an entire book and it is beyond frustrating so I was utterly THRILLED when Daemon did what he did. But in saying that, even before he "did what he did", the build up was just as exciting. I couldn't put this book down. It was epic and utterly swoonworthy and did I mention epic? I laughed, cried,... Read more

The First Covenant Novel (Covenant Series) (Volume 1)
The First Covenant Novel (Covenant Series) (Volume 1)

Review:I began reading Half-Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout just after finishing Obsidian, which was a stellar read. I have to say that while I did enjoy reading this book, I was somewhat disappointed with the similarities between Half-Blood and the Vampire Academy series. As a new fan of Richelle Mead, I was pretty dumbfounded with the obvious similarities.

Half-Blood tells the story of a sort of demigod race. Pure Hematoi have exceeding strength and powers. The offspring of Hematoi and Humans ... Read more
