Review:It intends to break up the confidence game into phrases much in the way the movie, The Sting did, but really it just becomes repetitive. There are good examples of the confidence men and women and their victims. The book makes clear that, yes, smart people, do fall for the con. Review:Lyubomirsky is a die hard researcher who keeps quoting statistics and disgarding the travails of life faced by people with ongoing depression. She does have a chapter on the subject, but I didn't find it to be as thorough as the rest of the book. All rumination is self induced and at the root of all unhappiness, in her opinion.
