Review:I cannot recommend this series enough for young children, and this book has proven to be no exception. The children become so engaged with Pete's songs and silly surprises, they have so much fun! What a great way to promote literacy and the pure enjoyment of reading together! While the book may be most appropriate for Preschool and Kindergarten, we were able to get children up through the 2nd grade to participate in a Pete the Cat sing-a-long : ) The button song seems, at first, to not be as muc... Review:Probably my favourite coloring book to date! I didn't want to color in it because it's so beautifully illustrated, but I finished the first double page spread and I plan on doing the rest. Markers don't bleed through either which is a big plus for me since colored pencils sometimes hurt my hand to color with for long periods of time. Read more
Review:My daughter is seven and loves drawing. This book has been very helpful in step by step guides to draw more detailed figures. She has used the book a couple times now. The book is sort of gender-neutral, so I have found that my "girly girl" is only semi-interested in the characters. Overall, it is a great step by step guide and very age appropriate. Read more
Review:Jenna Fischer’s phenomenal book ‘The Actor’s Life’ is factual, funny and a fantastic guide to the world of acting. This is one of those books that is informative, personable yet so enjoyable that you can’t stop reading. I am not an actor but I personally loved this book and it is one that works on so many levels.
The book starts out with Ms Fischer interest in acting and her school productions and then through her education which includes the many different facets of her experiences. S... Read more
Review:I got this book for my husband for Christmas. It has wonderful, eye-catching photos that draw you in to the various stories. I actually have enjoyed looking at it as well. I look forward to keeping it on hand for when our children are old enough to be learning about WWII, as I think the photos will help them understand what they are learning. Read more
Review:Richard is honest and holds nothing back. Naming names is not something many authors do in famous circles. I was hooked from the first chapter I read and didn't want my journey with him to end. I remember hearing these songs on the radio first hand and wanting more. Sadly I was only in SoCal for a short time as a teen. If you get a chance, pick up this book. It's not just a summer read, it is so much more. So many things to remember about my teen years. Who knew. Read more
Review:This coloring book contains 32 pages of mom life pictures for coloring. I think that it contains the perfect blend of snarky, sentimental, and silly that only a mother can appreciate.
The pictures are well drawn. Some have more details to color while some are more plain. I'm happy with this coloring book and look forward to coloring the pages, but do have some caveats on it.
The paper itself is not very high quality. If you're using gel pens or markers, the pages are not thick enou... Read more
Review:Really enjoyed this book, so much that I hated finishing it. Original and thoroughly readable style. Duff comes across as a sincere, genuinely nice guy who gives us a glimpse into his life with and without GN'R. Plenty of history for GN'R fans. Great read. Highly recommend! Read more
Review:The books came all together as I ordered, a couple days late than what Amazon said, but they still made it nonetheless! The only issue I had with the book (as seen in all three of them) was some sort of ink smudge, where it looked like some ink transferred over to the other pages. There were a lot of pages in each of the looks that made it look like it had dirt on the paper, but I could still read and enjoy it just fine! Read more
Review:I ordered this book based on the pictures it showed in the preview. I ordered it in March and it arrived in Sept. I was excited to get it. Well I was very disappointed. The pictures to color are good. The color plate pictures are awful. The colors in the color plates are smeared, blurry or pixilated. The faces were so over inked that they looked dark orange. There were some of the color plates that were nice, but I would say that over 3/4 of them were very bad. If you want the book just to be ... Read more
