enlightening. We were all glad for a book that honors teachers part in the raising of children. I personally felt that many of the characters didn't have many dimensions, but others felt it made the point well about many children's experience of uninvolved parents. Read more

Review:The writing style changes slightly in this installment, but that may be a result of the fact that the setting is entirely different than the first novels of the series. It also gives the feeling that Flavia is starting to grow up a little more which adds a new dimension to her character to draw you in. Can't wait for the next one! Read more

Review:These stories are entertaining and romantic. The characters are believable and we'll developed. I am stimulated to visit Scotland and see some of these castles.
