Review:Kids have LOVED this book in play therapy sessions!! They’ve enjoyed the different endings. Even if they know the best answer, they’ve had fun experimenting with what happens when they choose not to do the right thing. Great bibliotherapy!! Read more
Review:This book reminds me of an abbreviated "Book of Bartlett's Quotations" my parent's had when I was growing up. Made me want to go out & seek the original.
You'll get tuned into books you never knew existed -- & YES you will seek them out & wind up buying them! Read more
Review:I really like this story. I'm a follower of Jesus and I didn't find anything objectionable in it. It teaches girls that they are unique and to be thankful for the different qualities they have been given-like freckles etc- that makes them them. I talks about emotions too. I really like where it says something like if something doesn't seem right to just say NO. You can look on YouTube and find where people have taped themselves reading the book. I did that before purchasing for a neighbor girl. Read more
Review:I first read Farmer in the Sky, by Robert Heinlein when I was a teen. It chronicled the sort of adventure I would have enjoyed and the story stayed with me. Years later I read the story to my children and still have a copy in my library today. Read more

Review:I was quite hesitant when I picked up this book from the library. But, it was highly recommended. So, I thought why not... However, once I have started reading it, I was immersed in the story. The book is about the adventures of Prosper and Bo, who ran away from their dreadful aunt to Venice. Once in Venice, they bumped into Scipio, the Thief Lord, a kid himself with a mysterious identity. Scipio brought Prosper and Bo to his gang and gave them a "home". As Scipio took on a "big" job, his myster... Read more
Review:I read this book for a Young Adult literature class that I was in. I had struggled through the book, finding it very boring. So for a class project that I did on Rick Riordan, I decided to compare the book to this graphic novel. I found this graphic novel to be much interesting! The writing in the book was too simplistic and boring for me, but the graphic novel helped the story to move along faster, and it was interesting to compare the two formats. I would recommend this for struggling read... Read more
