My son used the book in the summer between kinder and first grade. He and I both loved it and the content was great. He was very prepared for first grade and his teacher is quite impressed with just how prepared he was.

This was very appropriate for my kindergartener going into first grade. We got this book to do over the summer and it was the perfect mix of review and new material that was just challenging enough. Kept him going and he loved learning new things. Large book with lots of pages. Well made! Lots to do!

Awesome workbook! I bought this for my 6 year old so i can help her 1 on 1 at home, and she loves it and is progessing nicely! I also bought the preschool book for my daughter, i love the "Big Workbook" series and will continue to buy them as my kids get older to help them at home!

This book starts off as a refresher from the lessons learned in kindergarten. The book then works it's way up to first grade learning. My son enjoys working from this book everyday. This was a good purchase and by the end of summer he's be ready for 1 st grade.

My 4 year old finished the kindergarten big book so I thought we would move on. The reading is challenging, because she's just learning phonics. But the math is fun for her. We're excited about going through this one!

My five year old did the kindergarten book getting ready to start kindergarten. We did a few pages before school started they took him a bit of time but they were good and I think they were age appropriate.
