Fear the Beard (The Dixie Warden Rejects MC Book 2)

Tommy aka "Dr. Bones" is known as the hot teacher/doctor and Tilly has just stepped into his classroom. Together these two start a forbidden affair between teacher and student. It's hot and steamy at first but soon the outside world intervenes the happy blissfulness they began to share. An annoying baby daddy along with his even more annoying new wife has Tilly in a constant battle with the upbringing of her 8-month-old daughter. On top of that there's someone in Tilly's life that she's not even aware has a vendetta against her. That said person is out to end her and won’t stop until she's damaged all the happiness that Tilly is basking in.

Yet again another great read! These Dixie Warden Rejects have truly captured my full attention. Tommy is not only an Alpha male but he's got a super soft side to him. He’s a gentle and caring soul when it comes to Tilly’s daughter. Tommy and Tilly meet at the worst time to start a relationship but true love has a way of making everything come together. This relationship starts off battling a storm, literally Tilly gets stuck in a swift water rescue scenario that has Tommy coming to her aid. That’s just the beginning of the many challenges these two face together. A crazy best friend, some even crazier baby daddy and new wife and let’s not forget the pass interaction that Doctor Tommy has had with Tilly’s family. This book is definite must read and should be added to your TBR list ASAP!

Robin’s Thoughts
It has been a few since my last review as I have been crazy with site rebuilds and work. With that said I received this book for an honest review and I pat myself on my back for making such a wonderfully surprising choice. This was the first book I have read that was written by Ms. Vale and don’t be surprised when I start searching for every other book to complete my collections.
This book had me hooked almost from the first words after the Title and cover made me crack up and decide I had to read it. Then with me being on a bit of a MC Romance kick here recently (Thanks to my friends you know who you are!) it was looking up for this read. This book which I later found out is number 2 in a series of 4 so far (YAY FOR ME!) was a wonderfully happy find. The forbidden part of the romance in this book leads to you cheer for the couple even though everything seems to happen quickly. The background and interweaving of the characters in not only this main couple but in the minor characters histories shows the depth of character that Ms. Vale is putting into her stories. More bonus points for her!
Talith’s aka Tally is a loveable single mother who is just trying to do right with her life. Her life took a hard right turn when she found out she was pregnant. This only made her want to succeed in being the best mother she could be for her daughter in all situations. I could find myself identifying with many of the choices Tally was faced with.
Dr. Tomirkanivov aka Dr. Tommy (or as I and others like to refer to him Dr. Bones) a fully patched member of the Dixie Wardens Reject makes me want to run to find his ER as quickly as possible. As a professor, ER Doctor and MC member covered in tattoos and a beard he is a lot of goodness all rolled into one! Dr. Tommy is trying so hard to do what is right and not let the past cloud all issues when Tally walks into his world. The steamy chemistry is off the charts in this one.
The twists and turns in this novel even threw me (an experienced reader who most of the time can figure out where an author is going) for a loop as I was NOT expecting to go where Ms. Vale took us. I could not help but want to cheer for these two, the chemistry and push and pull of their fate then tossing in the rest of the chaos going on around them. You will not want to put this book down until the end. The multiple plots and characters lead you to believe that this will be a very interesting world Ms. Vale is leading us into and I hope for many new books to keep us all happy. *Sign me up!! Sign me up!!* So grab you a fire extinguisher and a nice quiet place to read this hot steamy romance. I promise you will not put it down till you finish every word!
The hardworking men in this book grabbed me by the heart and willing climbed on the back of their bikes for the exciting ride. *Rushing off to find more of Ms. Vale’s books to read*

Lani has done it again! I absolutely loved reading this book. This is the second book in the Dixie Warden Rejects. They are stand alones. If you don’t read them all, you are definitely missing out on some fantastic books.

This is Dr. Tommy’s book. Or should I say Dr. Bones. He definitely gave me a lady boner!

Tommy is an ER doctor, member of the Dixie Wardens, and a teacher.

Tally is a single mom that works and is getting her nursing degree. She is busy as hell, but she’s a great mom.

This is such a great teacher/student read.

I thought Hadley was a bitch from the start.

Just like other Lani books, the chapter openers had me laughing.

Fear the Beard is an awesome story, so well written the characters are full of grit, passion and the forbidden element was spot on!
Tally and Tommy have this incredible chemistry and the older man younger woman was the perfect touch. I couldn’t put this book down! I was turning pages and fanning myself as this was a story of acceptance, understanding and the secret romance all wrapped up in this amazing story. I loved the banter amongst the characters and there were several laugh out loud moments this was a sexy, fun filled love story and I can’t wait for more of the Devil’s Rejects MC as these men are not exactly what you think you would find within the walls of an MC compound. One click this baby today, What are you waiting for!!

Another terrific read from the incomparable Lani. This beautiful story of a young single mother doing everything she can for her daughter to provide her a better life touches my soul and is also my favorite kind of book. After witnessing a near fatal accident between a biker and a car her world is thrown for a loop. Tommy aka Dr. Bones is fully patched member of the Dixie Wardens Reject but he's also a teacher at the nursing school that Tally attends. He see's Tally at the almost accident and one look is all it takes for him to be hooked unfortunately she's also a student in his class. Of course when something is forbidden it doesn't nothing but makes you want it more and the chemistry between the pair is melt your eye sockets hot. This book along with all the rest of Lani's work if fantastic and I'm patiently (not really) waiting for Ghost book.

I loved this book! Tally, and Tommy are electric together, and I couldn't get enough! The story line was awesome, and the character's are just as great! After reading Beard Mode, I was hooked on this series. It truly just gets better in the second installment, and I cant wait to get my hands on Son of a Beard coming out next month!

If you love reading a good Military/MC/Forbidden book, I highly recommend picking up Fear the Beard. I am loving the Dixie Warden Rejects MC Series, and I cant wait for more books to come out! Especially Truth, and Ghost's book! (Total swoon worthy!)

I am really enjoying this series. A great group of "misfit" bikers.
This one though, this one really tugged at my heartstrings. I loved Tommy and his immediate connection and protectiveness of Tally. But it was his connection with baby Tallulah that got to me, it was precious. I totally fell for Tommy because of his love for that little girl!
They sure went through enough to be together. From the start they had a huge obstacle that made it a forbidden relationship. I wasn't sure they were going to get their HEA. It was a rough rocky road.
I finished this book with tears in my eyes and a smile a mile wide. I just loved it.
I CANNOT wait for the next one. Ghost has a story I can't wait to read.

​I'm seriously loving this series. Fear the Beard is a must read! Lani Lynn Vale never fails to write a story that keeps you wanting more and more. I loved Tommy and Tally. I especially loved how their relationship formed. Tally found herself in a difficult situation but she made the most of it. Though she has a great support system, she doesn't take advantage of it and handles her responsibilities. Tommy isn't perfect but he's close! He's a little broody at times but you can really tell how much he cares for Tally. Fear the Beard is fast paced with plenty of humor and drama. There was never a dull moment. I could not put this book down!

Another incredible book by Lani Lynn Vale! I adore Tally - her snarky, smart mouth, her incredible devotion to her daughter especially when things are not easy, and her willingness to do whatever it took to make their lives better. Dr Tommy, who we have met in previous books as Dr Bones, is the perfect book boyfriend - rolls with the punches, his lack of fear when things are not going perfectly, and his disregard for the rules. I cannot recommend Fear the Beard highly enough and I cannot wait to see where we are taken next in the series!

You will not be disappointed in this book.

Tommy is a doctor who falls hard for one of his students, who will not do anything that would jeopardise her passing her exams and becoming a nurse.

Tally will not risk her career especially as she has a baby and needs to show everyone that she can do this on her own.

Tommy is a strong loving man that Tally quickly realises will complete both her and her daughter's life.

Excellent book

Dixie Warden's Rejects has hit another great sexy exciting and twisty tale of one hot ass alpha male and a woman that brings him to his knees. While I had a hard time connecting at first I found myself completely loving every moment of the ride. I am very much looking forward to the next installment of the Dixie Warden's Rejects Lani Vale has it another home run with this one! I couldn't put it down!

If you have read books written by this author you know the kind of stoey Fear the Beardis going to be!!! This book is one of my new Favorite books this year. I laughed out loud reading tis book.If you have never read a story by this Author and like comedy inyour romances.I say give any of these books a try. They are Fun to read.

I absolutely love this series and loved this book. Tommy was wonderful, sexy, and sweet. Tally was strong, independent, and just great. I loved the whole story line and all the laugh out loud moments. This was a great book and I can't wait for the next one.

Couldn't wait to read about Tommy. Tommy and Tally had chemistry to die for, this book was thrilling, and had drama. Simply a wonderfully well written story. Lani Lynn Vale is a brilliant writer, who takes you on a journey filled with drama, love and humor.

It was supposed to only be one time, but when it came to Talley, one time just wasn't enough.ummmm, they just can not do it, they could get into sooo much trouble. And then to top it off, Talley's family doesn't like him either.

"Thought you didn't want to get into trouble."
"Screw them and screw that."
"Only one night," she declared.
"This is the one and only time we pursue this."
"Yeah, right."

But as you ladies know in our book fantasies, and you know how are favorite authors love to fulfill our fantasies?? Well Lani will definitely fulfill your fantasy in this book!! And ooohhhh goodness, you will definitely need to have the air conditioner on when you read this book. It is smolderen' HAWT!!!

I gave this book 5 SHINING Stars!!! I am loving this series sooo much, and I will have to say that I really love this book more then book one and I loved book one!!! Make sure you pick this book up next and find out who your next BBF is...sooo yummy!! lol

You know sometimes you think if there are to many books in the series it can become dull??? Well yeah that's not the case with Lani Lynn Vale series they just keep getting better and better. Tally is trying to do everything she can to keep a roof over her and her daughter's head. She is so close to having everything she needs to complete her obstacle course called life. What she doesn't need is a distraction like Tommy. Not only is Tommy her teacher, but the doctor at the hospital she works at. There is a no-no policy for both places, but she can't help her body responding. She will make it a point to avoid him at all costs. Tommy is strong, smart, and will protect his family and brothers at all cost. He enjoy's being a doctor and a teacher, but he doesn't want anyone getting in his way and that includes the shy, sassy, Tally. Chemistry is always strong when you try to fight it, but what happens if you are just able to be friend? Tommy realizes that he can not have her, but that doesn't mean he can't protect her without her knowing, or can it? You won't put this book down, and if you have read the others in this series you won't be able to and you will come out of it with a hangover praying Lani comes out with another book ASAP. Enjoy the sparks!!!

Another great book by Lani Lynn Vale. Once again I have devoured it in a day, mum & house duties were put on the back burner whilst I read this.

Tally is a single mum getting herself through the last of school to become a nurse, when she starts a class with Dr Tommy- ER doctor and College teacher, aka Dr Bones.
Although Tally isn't the most outgoing person I loved how she had a back bone and didn't get pushed around, and her daughter Tallulah was just lovely, the interactions between her and Tommy were heart melting. I love a big biker dude who turns in to a softie around kids.

Again another book with a great group of people, just enough going on to keep you reading on, and wondering what will happen.
And if you enjoy teacher/student romances it even has an aspect of that.

As always, Lani Lynn Vale does not disappoint! They just keep getting better with each book! Tally & Tommy are such a great couple, and its beautiful how he loves her daughter right from the beginning. Tommy is a very believable character, and tries so hard to keep Tally from suffering hardship from their relationship. I think this is my favorite series so far!
