Get ready to once again laugh your @$$ off and have your panties get wet when you read about Loki and Channing. Each time I start one of these books I say to myself there is no way that this one will live up to the last and I am proved wrong each and every single time. Because every book doesn’t just top the previous one, it blows them away and Keys To My Cuffs is no exception. I think I peed my pants from laughing so hard, I don’t want to give any of the book away but the scene where Channing gets stiches, is freaking hilarious.

Loki was undercover when he met Channing, and she was weary of him when she thought he was a criminal, but when she learns he is a cop, well that could be a game changer and for good reason. He will do what he has to do to keep her safe, even if it means staying away and possibly ruining any chance he has with her. Loki has this hard exterior, but what is underneath is someone who will die before he lets Channing be hurt again even if it means hurting his own heart in the process.

Channing’s past with cops is one that has made her scared of all of them, both good and bad ones. But there is something about Loki that makes her slowly become more comfortable with his occupation. She is also hilarious and sweet and sassy. She fits in perfectly with the rest of the crew.

I read all four books in this series in a four day period and now I am going through withdraw. I hope that the next book comes out very soon because I need more of these guys and the sassy women who they love. Lani Lynn Vale is now one of my automatic reads from this day forward.

Another great read !! I will admit I have skipped around with both of Lani's series but I am enjoying them all the same !! I love how this series can be read as standalones but all the characters intertwine !! With this gorgeous cover I was very much looking forward to the visuals !! The cover model fits Loki perfectly !!

Loki is a doer !! He is a man of many hats. Certified in more things than I can remember , he served in the military , he is a cop , actually an undercover cop at the time of this story and he is a member of the Dixie Wardens MC !! He may have a few uniforms but I can bet he looks pretty hot in all of them !! Right now Loki is undercover trying to catch a serial murder/rapist in his town. Living the life of a construction worker/low life. What he doesn't expect or need is to become smitten with the sassy neighbor chick Channing. One strange erotic window encounter starts the ball rolling and once it starts they can't stop it regardless of their safety.

Channing is working crap jobs to make ends meet and her low life brother is mooching off her doing nothing to help out. She has a super creepy neighbor and a super hot neighbor !! The highlight of her life happens in the window one night and changes her life in a flash ! Channing had a bad encounter years ago and cops give her anxiety. Go figure the guy she is falling fast for happens to be one.

Their journey is full of hurdles so hang on tight. There were a few twists thrown in there and I was shocked. Channing had a hard time dealing with Loki's job , the need for him to keep her safe had him leaving her alone while he went on with life. For months Channing had to suffer without Loki. Channing had a big secret to tell but when all heck broke loose she had no clue how to tell. Despite the efforts to keep her safe Loki and Channing end up in the midst of terror and chaos more than once. The way their lives intertwined when the trouble came to a head was crazy. I may have been a little dizzy from all the revelations !! Beyond the drama their time together was super hot and had me burning up !! Channing was a sassy chick and I enjoyed the banter. I also loved hanging out with the whole gang and seeing how the others were getting on. Loki really is a great guy and even though he had to ditch Channing and do his job you always knew where his heart was and that if he could be living a normal life he would be with her by his side !! They may be a fave couple of mine !! The whole hospital scene , the ice , OMG I was laughing out loud I loved it !! I look forward to more !! Loved the sneak peek we got at the end !

This is the fourth book in the Dixie Wardens MC series. They can be read as stand alones, which is great since I read this one first. It doesn't take away from the story if read out of order. This book had me laughing at the little "life lessons" and such, at the beginning of each chapter.

"I don't want to let it go. I want to beat you over the head with a nine iron while 'Let it Go' plays in the background."

Channing is funny, so funny. I really enjoyed reading about her. At the beginning of the book, she has her lazy brother living at her house. He is worthless tough. He doesn't help around the house at all. Which lead to her meeting the hot neighbor.

I said she was funny, and a great example of that is when she is getting stitches at the hospital. her little outbursts while there, even had the nurse/doctor trying not to laugh. She does have a fear of cops though, because of what happened to her when she was 16.

She hasn't had the easiest life. Hurricane Katrina took her mom from her. Her dad is a trucker, so he wasn't around much.

Okay, back to the hot neighbor, Bryce, "Loki", is undercover, trying to gather evidence against a serial rapist. He moved next door to Channing for that reason. He is also a member of the Dixie Wardens MC. He has an instant attraction to Channing, but can't really act on it yet. Even after the rapist is caught, he has to take a step back from her because of the death threats, attempted car bombings, and everything else that has been happening to him. He wants to keep her safe.

The Dixie Wardens MC, is not the normal outlaw MC, they aren't outlaw at all. They use to be, but now they are mostly "legal". I found that sort of funny, since the majority of the members are cops, military, or firemen.

This would have been a 5 star read, but there is some editing that could be fixed and Loki being stabbed/sliced across the stomach in the morning, but he was fine that night and said it didn't hurt or bother him. Yea, that would hurt and bother people. Other than that, I enjoyed this story and have gone back to read the first book and have already started the second one.

When I started reading this story I didn’t know it was the fourth book in a series but that in no way took away from the joy of this book. I LOVED this novel. Loki led a complicated life. As a police officer for the Benton PD he had been working undercover for years, did many things he didn’t want to think about in the name of law, but he really wanted to get back to a normal life. He had good friends, a family in the Dixie Wardens motorcycle club, and a job he loved. How could he contemplate more when his life was not really his own? After meeting Channing, his next-door neighbor, he had even more incentive to get out. They’d been neighbours for months before the two finally met. Channing had been drawn to Loki but was too shy to make the first move. After that first official meeting the sparks flew fast and furious between the two despite life doing the most it could to keep them apart. Undercover work was dangerous and that life was threatening the steps they were taking to be together. Would Loki be able to leave that life with Channing and his life intact or would violence shatter everything he held so dear?

I LOVED THIS STORY. I know I am repeating myself but I just spent hours reading this book in almost one sitting because I became so lost in Loki and Channing’s world. The author’s writing style is so natural and easy that you feel the characters are speaking directly to you. Loki is everything one would ask for in a protective, loving partner while Channing is the same in a much smaller package. The sparks between the two of them are electrifying with the sultry scenes painting a picture of loving lust that would make me blush if I weren’t enjoying them so much. Surrounded by the main characters are a cavalry of family and friends that bring love and humour in equal measure. Love and devotion vie with betrayal and violence in a story that I got lost in and didn’t want to leave. The curve balls kept coming and the surprises kept me glued to the pages. I have found a new author that won’t be on my TBR shelf for long because I will be devouring them as fast as I start them! Well, as soon as I finish re-reading this gem…

Like the other three books, the main male character is a member of a motorcycle club, but is also an undercover detective for the local police department. Being in the MC is NOT his undercover job; it is what he truly loves. I’m still slightly confused as to how the MC can be mostly legal (which implies they have some illegal dealings) when the members are either fire fighters or police officers, doesn’t that go against the role of a police officer?

Any way Loki, the male character, is undercover to catch a rapist. The female character, Channing, lives next door to his undercover home and he is instantly attracted to her. Channing is also instantly attracted to him even though he appears to be a scruffy drug addict. Little does Loki know but Channing has a phobia of police as a result of an incident when she was a teenager. This adds quite a bit of drama to the story when Loki’s real job is revealed. There is a lot of drama in this book and many secrets are revealed from the cumulative story (this is book 4 in the series). One thing that came to light wasn’t explained very well in my opinion and only left me with more questions. This revolves around Channing’s brother Andrew and something he is said to have done years earlier. I found this book to be full of humor; Channing is a smart mouth with a great sense of humor. Loki is sexy and there is a lot of messing around. I give this book 3.5 stars.

This is an MC (Motorcycle Club) book that almost anyone can read. I say almost because there is a lot of HOT sex in this book and that might be off putting to some. Fortunately not me! Most of the MC books that I have read are "Dark" not this one so if you have been unsure of whether you would like an MC book this one is for you. And, it is still good for the ones that like all MC books. At least it was for me. It does help because it has a lot of very HOT men! :) The women in those mens life aren't bad either, just saying!

Keys To My Cuffs is the 4th book in The Heroes of The Dixie Wardens MC and has another HEA and I love my HEA's! This story was about Loki (AKA Bryce Rector) & Channing. Loki is working as an undercover cop. She (Channing) lives next door with her good for nothing brother and of course the story goes on from there. I won't tell you because you need to read the book.

You could probably read this book as a stand alone but, would be better to start at the beginning of this series because all the characters they interact with are in each of these books. And, who wouldn't want to learn more of all the hard working service people in these books! Loved this book "Keys To My Cuffs"

I have been looking forward to getting Loki's story from I was first introduced to him in the previous books. There was just this air of mystery surrounding him and I wanted to know who he really was.

I have to say I struggled at some points to relate to Channing, sometimes she came across as very hard to like. Saying that once you get into the story you start to understand her a little better and in the end I really did like her. Channing had a bad experience with a cop so it's only fair that she is petrified of them, she struggles with the panic she feels when in the presence of Loki and his friends but she overcomes her fear to be with him.

I honestly wasn't sure what we would get with Loki and although there were a few times I wanted to yell at him I really liked his character. I loved his relationship with Channing.

This was another great story from Lani Lynn Vale. I love the balance of badass and good guy in her alpha males.

I really enjoyed this book. Channing and Loki were characters that I could really invest in and love. Though I haven’t read any other books by this author before, they will definitely go into my TBR list.

The story is told from both POVs and we get to experience their joys and heartaches with them both. Loki is a detective with the small town police department. Channing is a beautician who just so happens to work on the not so normal kind of clients.

They meet when Loki is undercover and they aren’t exactly able to be together in public. I liked how real it felt for them to have the trials they had in their relationship and still to have the love they felt.

I loved the bonds of Loki and his MC brothers and how welcoming the wives of said brothers were to Channing. Of course, it’s a fictional story, but I really could feel myself being there with them.

The novel had just enough drama to keep you on the edge of your seat but not so much that you were overwhelmed with it. There were just enough sexy scenes, but not so many that you want to start skimming them. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys romance novels.

Loki has been undercover for a while, his life is a lie and he's ready to get out. Being in the armed forces and then joining the PD, he's ready to go back to his life. But then he can't help staring at his neighbor Channing all the time, and when she needs his help, he jumps to it asap. They can't fight the atraction they have, it's explosive, and the longer they fight it, the more intense it gets. He tries to stay away because of his job, he can't put her in danger, but he just can't help himself. 5months and they're trying to overcome some obstacles that have crossed their lives. I was shocked with a little something that happened (lips are sealed) it had me smiling and exited to see where their story was headed. Loved the end and all her characters. I love Lani Lynn Vale's Dixie Wardens!!! I'm so glad I came across Lights to my siren and I can't wait for more!!! This is a must read series!! Hot Bikers, police officers, paramedics and overall ALPHA MALES!!!

I love MC books. The gritty, angsty, mess that usually comes along with them are what make them better. Well, that's not what we got with this one.
Loki is a Benton police officer. Not only that, but he's part of the Dixie Wardens MC. He's also undercover right now investigating a ring of rapes that have hit the town hard. It doesn't hurt that the girl next door has caught his attention.
Channing is now one of my favorite heroines ever. She's as feisty as they come. She lives in a rundown neighborhood and does makeup at night...for the dead. It's not a cushy job, but she cherishes the quiet. She's got some anxiety issues that stem from an incident with someone posing as a cop when she was 16. Needless to say, she doesn't like cops now, regardless of the fact that the guy wasn't really one. But she can hold her own. This girl was raised right. Her momma and daddy taught her well. She doesn't take crap from anyone and can take care of herself.

These two eventually get together, and let me tell you, there are fireworks. Hot, bright, blinding fireworks. I loved how they didn't depend on each other. They didn't need the other one to survive. They gave each other hell and loved every minute of it.

There wasn't a part of this book that I didn't enjoy. I was expecting to read another bland MC book that was just like all of the others. But I was wrong! There were times that I was laughing out loud, which was hard to do since I went hoarse the day before reading it. I just want to know why I'd never heard of these books and this author before! I swear I highlighted almost half of the book because the lines were just that outrageously funny! If you need a good laugh, this is definitely the book to read.

These characters are so hot! I was curious about Loki from the start and was happy to see his story. I love that all these guys get with women who have such spunk.

Ok, I'll say it...Loki isn't my favorite Warden(gasp the horror) but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy his story each time and I do love Channing! I just love how this series builds off the last one and it has created a world we all just can't help but be absorbed by.

his is the lighter side of the motorcycle club sub genre with the bikers all being civil servants.

There is good humor here and the epilogue is particularly funny but I never settled into this book.

The hero and heroine are hurting and they hurt each other. I never see the kind of safe place I long for them both so the romance doesn't end up working for me.

I loved this story. Loki was an undercover policeman on a mission to catch a
rapist. Loki had sacrificed everything to accomplish this and nothing was going to
stand in his way. That was until he caught a glimpse of his neighbor. Channing is
pretty and sweet and has a fear of policemen due to something in her past.
Channing is everything Loki does not have time for but he cannot walk away from
her. Their chemistry is instantaneous and they both give into their feelings. Both
of them need to learn to let each other in before danger strikes again. This was a
great story with lots of suspense, humor and romance.

I am loving this series each book is wonderful to read. Again I was glued to the pages and couldn't put it down. I loved Loki in this book we meet him in the previous books.

In Keys to My Cuffs this story is about Loki who is an undercover cop. Loki is undercover trying to find a serial rapist. Channing is his next door neighbor. Channing has the hots for Loki but they both try to fight their feelings for each other. Loki and Channing have a dangerous road ahead of them as they deal with a serial rapist.

Looking forward to the next one in the series.

ARC Review.

This story follows along the lines of the previous 3 books. All the characters are still prevalent in the story. There are also a couple revelations on some older characters. The story jumps around some in the beginning between past and present to give the whole story of the main characters. There are a couple new character additions. The story is more focused on the drama than on the love connection. Overall it was a good book.

I never usually write reviews. And never to give 1 star. but I am sorry the writing was horrible! I wanted so badly to love this book. I have been waiting to buy this for awhile and when i had a little extra cash i said F#$K it and bought it. i returned it the same day. The dialog between them was very base and she didn't develop the characters enough for them to be "so in love" and they fact that she was hiding her *spoiler right here people* pregnancy from him because she doesn't know how he will take it? i call B%^*S$%T on that one. every man deserves to know. I could have forgiven this if there was more dvelopement between them but nope. In the end I was highly disappointed. Read at your own risk!
