This book really helped me to understand how my body works and how I can get healthy to lose weight (not lose weight to get healthy, as Dr. Berg likes to say!). Dr. Berg has a really knack for clearly and simply explaining the science behind fat burning and how hormones affect the overall function of your body. The book is easy to use and understand, and the principles aren't hard to follow. I really recommend it for anyone who is looking to feel better and get their body working efficiently.

Dr. Berg has written a truly informative and life changing program for regaining good health. I would advise all medical professionals to read this to understand where disease really starts from so their patients can be healed!!

I like the book for all the helpful information, but the only issues i have is that it is all over the place. The info I mean.Probably He could have written a much shorter book if it was organized better. It made it hard for ME to read.

Dr. Berg has really changed my life. I watched all his youtube videos and read this book cover to cover. I have gone up and down in my weight so much over the years, eating "healthy", but then never feeling satisfied. I would spend hours each week cutting vegetables, making stir fry, only to feel bloated and tired. I used to work out at least an hour or two a day, every day, and I would slowly lose weight only to put it back on again. At the start of 2017 I was committed to finally losing the weight, so every day I ate salads and stir fry, I worked out on my own, did group fitness, and even yoga classes. For four months I ate "right" and exercised, and did not lose a damn pound. Weighed 280 at the beginning, weighed 280 at the end of May. So I gave up, just didn't want to do it anymore if I wasn't losing weight, and by some strange fate I stumbled on Dr. Berg talking about Apple Cider Vinegar on youtube. I liked what he had to say, so then I watched his other videos, and as many as I could. He was the first person who ever explained things that made sense. He changed my whole paradigm of weight loss. I actually work out far less than ever before, but I am getting healthy fats, lots of vegetables, and a moderate size of protein. I used to hate doing the dishes after a meal because I always felt unsatisfied, but I love doing the dishes now, cause every meal is a banquet. I eat avocados, chicken, grass fed beef, grass fed steak, bacon, eggs, giant salads, and sugar-free desserts. I eat only twice a day, I love every meal, and I love his plan. Every piece of advice he suggests, I follow, and it works. I even have apple cider vinegar with Perrier water (Pellegrino isn't for me), and I love it. My only hiccup is getting my sleep right. I need to improve on that. Otherwise, he has been a real life saver for me, not only in cutting down my weight, but also in eliminating fatigue, decreasing my stress, and thinking more clearly. Buy this book.
