A Heroes Novel (The Hero Book 1) - Her Forbidden Hero

This book is intense and filled with emotion! Yes, unrealistic but a moving story that I couldn't put down! I think all the times they are close to being together and something gets in the way builds up to make the ending even more meaningfully.

Likable characters, good story and easy to read. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a few hours to get into a good book that doesn't want anything too heavy. It is definitely a book I'll re-read down the track.

I love Alyssa and Marco and the tension and angst in this book. It is very well written and didn't want it to end. It was finished off well. This is my first for Laura Kaye and definatley not my last.

I guess I had high expectations for this one since I love Laura Kaye and some of her other books like Hearts of Darkness(which by the way is one of my favs)but it was a let down. This book was just ok for me.

I loved the tension the author built between the two characters and when it was released, no pun intended;), was amazing! Great eay to tie in her other book 'One night with a hero' Love this author- wish I had a love story like Aly and Marco!!

This is my absolute favorite book! Laura Kaye does it again! All of her books are awesome but this one touches my heart more than any of the others. The characters are so realistic and the story is very believable. As you read you fall in love and you do not want the story to end! I could not put it down and read it a couple of times before reading a new one :-) I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a true love story of desire and destiny. You will not be disappointed! Enjoy :-)

Her Forbidden Hero is a great read. The passion between the two main characters was amazingly well written. I enjoyed watching as their journey to come together unfolded, through misunderstandings, and an almost tragedy. This book is definitely worth buying. Laura Kaye is an amazing author.

I absolutely loved this story. It brought back memories of my first love. The author makes your chest clench and tears come to your eyes and you become unable to put the book down. If you're like me and have a soft spot for military men, you'll enjoy!! Heck, you'll enjoy regardless!!! Great read!!

Great book. Captures the actuality of soldiers who are injured serving our country and the stresses they face to return to their old selves once they encountered the horrors of war. Great love story and the ending is perfect. Wish it had gone on to tell of their future but I love being able to imagine their lives after they get married!

Amazing. Had me reeled in within the first 10 pages. It's not a very long book but I think the length was just right for the story. Amazing characters, great read. I read it in one sitting. I would definitely read this again and would, no doubt, recommend it to others. Stop reading reviews now and read this book!

This novel definitely lived up to my expectations. Good storyline and good writing. You won't be disappointed.
Very refreshing that this young adult book heads much more toward the ''adult'' genre rather than the ''young''.
