Hard core and brutal violent mc world and how does an innocent girl get attracted to a biker? Easily if Drex is the one that is interested in her. Love Eve thought this couple was very true to the world they live in. Not all books share this quality so it was a refreshing view finally.

I really enjoy drex and Eve's relationship. Eve does the most risky thing to save her family and I'm glad drex had an instant attraction and decided to keep her to himself. The author grabs your attention and keeps you wanting more. I can't wait to start reading book two to find out what Halle s neck.. Praying for drex.

This book was captivating right from the start.
It was fast paced, entertaing, HOT, witty at times, and suspenseful.
Never a dull moment. She made every word count.

This is definitely a page-turner. This book is at the top of the list of my favorites by C.M. Owens. It's exciting, steamy, and intriguing. I've got to go read the next book right now to see what happens.

Loved this book C.M. develops her characters so well and you feel as you are right there with them and/or are them. You feel their pain. agony, happiness, confusion, etc. Thank you for another great book. Can't wait to read the rest of this series.

This isn't my usual reading material...But I thought, it's C.M. Owens, it can't be that bad....Thank goodness I listened to my gut! This is an awesome story! Hot, sexy, scary and just straight-up the bomb! I'm supposed to be working, instead I'm going to have to read part two...I'll work tomorrow. Love this series!

First time I have read this author. I really liked this book. I got book one for free and I am gong to pay the $3.99 for book 2 because I enjoyed this book me so much and I have to find out how it ends. I hate when authors do that so know that if I say it is that good I am being very serious.

I loved the book! Well written, great storyline. The characters were strong and the females were not whiney she cats. I couldn't put the book down till it was finished. Well worth reading and anxious to start the next one.

This has a somewhat original storyline considering all the MC books out there. Love Drex and Eve's characters. Ends on a bit of a cliffhanger and I will be waiting on pins and needles til the next in series is out. Loved it!

My friend recommended The Sterling Shores series to me. I knew I had to dive into this book as soon as I seen the cover. I am friends with the cover model. C.M. Owens did not let me down, in fact she gutted me. This book has so many feelings you run through. I promise you will not regret the purchase. WORTH IT

So yes this is way different than anything I have ever read by C.M. Owens and I loved it. Who knew she could write like this! I love her books but this, this was different and I NEED the next book right now.

This book keeps you on your toes the entire journey. Eve is this shy but yet strong young lady. I have this feeling we will see her reach for her badassness in the future. Looking forward to the next book!

Action packed, reading so quickly that the pages fly by. I feel for Eve, doing what she has to do to take care of the family. Things get better then get really bad, and then bam!! Can't wait to see what happens next.

I hate you, you heifer!! I start reading your book and can't put it down!! I have housework and laundry piling up but, I can't seem to care because I just have to find out what's going to happen next in the story. It's great!!

This is action packed and you will be shaking your head at the turmoil and decisions made to keep a family together and alive, DREX loves his brothers and he is falling the one girl who could bring them all down...enjoyed this!

What an exciting story! I was hooked on the first lines. Holy Moly is Drex a super sexy alpha! I am loving Eva as she is a feisty woman. I had to buy the next book immediately. It is just that good.

Coming from the actual mc world, I swore to never read mc romance novels. This is a great read on the fantasy level.. Only gave 4 stars BC its length. That's it. Its a really great start to the series. Already bought book 2.

Loved this story. CM has crafted another read that sucks you in and doesn't let go. This is a new genre for her, but she knocked it out of the park! Can't wait for the rest of the series! If you have qualms about violence or dubious consent, steer clear. :)

I really loved the dynamic between Drex and Eve (and the fact that he never actually sleeps with another woman, hallelujah), and the story had me hooked - especially at the end.

Like most romance novels, you'll have to find a pretty high ledge to hang your disbelief off of, but I thought it was worth it. Only thing I can think to critique is that sometimes the dialogue didn't fit with the characterization: the vocabulary and sentence structure could sound alternately too polished or stilted.
