Nero (Made Men Book 1)

At first I thought "great another cheesy romance book" (which it's ok sometimes I love to read those) . But when I got further into the book.... holly cow it is good. I love the dominant kind of romance. It's different and interesting.

Excellent story. Sexual tension scenes off the chart. I have highlighted the locations just to go back and read those parts. I don't usually like young high school aged books but this one was not immature by any means. Loved it. Almost afraid to read vincent because the bar was set so high in this book. Excellent writing!!!!

High School, bullying, love, and violence courtesy of the mob. I enjoyed reading Nero and Elle's story. A true fairy tale where Elle is rescued by her white knight.
The final chapters of the book had my heart racing and I'm pretty sure this isn't the last we see from Nero and Elle.

I'm excited to see what Sarah has in store next.

I really had fun with this,,, the alpha male, possessive, dominent lead charactor was hot! And i know this is fantasy, and that women probably really do not want a man that controlling, but for a romance story? it was the best... and I hope he is just as dominent in the next book! that is what makes this fun to read! great job!

This was an excellent read. I enjoyed the book and the story behind it. This story is based on mainly bullying in school along with romance. Although I did enjoy the book it was more for younger adults. But, do not let that deter you because the teenagers are well rounded and mature for their ages.

This book did not disappoint! Some will say that Nero (the H) turned into an alpha prick the last quarter of the book, but I say yummy! I wish we could have seen more of that side of him but I understand the story line didn't permit it. I absolutely can't wait for the next one. I hope this author is not a slow writer. Great job for any author but I'm especially impressed since this is her debut novel.

I somehow keep stumbling upon these young adult or new adult stories and I almost passed on this one as well....but the summary intrigued me so I continued on. I am really glad I did. This book has strong and interesting characters and the fact that they are teens is almost irrelevant it is so well written. It is not so full of all the teenaged angst that you want to just scream get over yourself!! I read ALOT and this was a new and interesting storyline that I really enjoyed. Bravo Sarah you made the bad guys HOT and endearing and I hope all the other characters you create have their own stories soon.

Nero and his brother are all scary, terrifying really. Yet the right girl can turn them softer... NOT soft. I loved reading how Nero lived his own brand of hero in the dark underworld. So looking forward to Chloe and Lucca's story. I hope it's next and coming fast!

This is what I call mega alpha meets sweet beauty. There must be something wrong with me, as I love these dark, messed up alpha male books. I can't imagine living with one though. I'd go nuts. This was really good, wish it had been college age characters, but then the whole bullying thing may not have worked. Very glad I read it.

This is a story about resilience and bullying. Elle is a powerful female character. Her will to survive is something to behold. When you add Nero, who is all alpha male, to the mix it makes for a fantastic story. This is however a book about high students and may not appeal to everyone. The overall story is worth the read.

Ya lost me. I downloaded the sample and thought this book had an interesting plot line going for it, and strong lead characters. Then it just got worse, and before I knew it, it was completely in the gutter.

After this line, I promptly closed my kindle (and trust me I had been fighting the urge to do so for a while)
"You need to stop questioning me. I'm the one with dick, and the sooner you realize that, the easier this will be. Trust me, baby, you'll start too like it that way."

Not to mention the physical abuse at school Elle suffered was just no realistic. She is not so good a liar that she can fool her school and her parents, whom in their current financial state, I wonder how they paid for so many stitches? Yes, I know that gangs (and thusly mafias) can run schools, but this isn't some scary public school. This is a top dollar private school where apparently none of the rich mafia families care when their kids come home with their faces bloodied? Not likely.

I really liked the story line, but it was sometimes hard to believe these were high school seniors. Some of their activities and thinking were beyond that of 18 year olds. That being said I did love the characters and am looking forward to reading about the others, especially Lucca.

Absolutely love this book. Read the sample and was undetermined if I would purchase. I'm so glad I did. I love Elle and Nero. He's so protective. He's such a alpha male. Can't wait to see what's up with Chloe. She very mysterious. She's been through so much with Elle. Recommend this book. It is so great.

What an amazing first novel for Sarah Brianne. Nero is prime alpha material and the romance between the two leads is engrossing. I am really impressed with Brianne's ability to draw me (a 40 year old) into the world of high school and mafia men. It will be nothing like you expect. Gritty, real and sexy. In addition to the well-written dramatic aspects of the book, Brianne's subtle humor weaves a pleasant thread throughout her story. I'm hooked and looking forward to the continuation of the series.

The bullying was horrendous and a fresh, interesting premise. It was disappointing that the H did not notice the h before it was necessary, but it didn't take anything from the story.
I am really looking forward follow up books, especially Nero's older brother.

The writing is really good. This was better than I expected since I wasn't sure if I would like a mob book. Nero is every girls dream. Elle is a best friend everyone should have and everyone should try to be. I can't wait for the next book.

I loved this book. The characters were awesome, the plot was gripping, and I hope and pray the Author is going to continue this as a series. I not only loved this book because of all the action and hot sex but BECAUSE IT TOTALLY BROUGHT BULLYING AND THE RESULTS INTO FOCUS!! I pray that EVERYONE who reads this book takes a step to help stop bullying - in whatever setting.

Will definitely buy another book from this author!!!

Very disappointed in this book.I could not make myself read even half of it.
The writing came off as a child had written it pretending to be an adult.
The two main characters of the book were confusing in their thoughts and actions.
I'm sad that there wasn't more emotion and feeling.
Don't let the high ratings fool you into buying this book.

This book was awesome. I really enjoyed. I finished it in one setting. I could not put it down. I had been a book funk for a couple of weeks and was very happy to come across this book. I cannot wait until the next book in the series. Hopefully it will be soon!

This is a totally different type of love story but, I loved it! Nero is probably one of my favorite characters ever! I loved how he took care of what's his...Yes this story has some disturbing parts to it so, just know that going into it. It's not all petals and roses and that makes it a fantastic read!! I'm looking forward to more made men books!

Loved me some Horse, adored one Kane Allen, fell in instant lust with Preacher, and still have very vivid daydreams of one Mr. Micah Hudson but today i broke up with all of my former literary lovers to make ALL KINDS OF ROOM for Nero. I wont give anything away because there are plenty of posts that do just that but i will say that you NEED to buy this book. I read it in one sitting and am very patiently awaiting the next in this Made men series.

Some people may be sensitive to some of the things that happen in this story but the men are the best. Although it is a crime family I definitely want more. VINCENT,AMO,LUCCA, and even little LEO. I would like more please and very soon.

I love mafia romance and even though the main characters were younger than I normally like to read I can honestly say this is one of my favorite mafia romance books. I am looking forward to this series.

Loved the story line. I really hope the author will continue with the series there is so much more to learn. Also unlike other recent books of other popular authors this book was a full length. Great job! Please keep writing

Great read. Some parts are disturbing and my heart went out to those abused and bullied. I found this story so real. Thank God for Nero, yet I had mixed emotions about him throughout. I do recommend this book .

I read this book with a few reservations because of the high school setting...but it did not disappoint! I found this book to keep me engaged with the storyline and i loved the characters. I have read both books in the series and cannot wait for the next. Highly recommend this!

I really liked this book. I was hoping that Elle would actually beat the crap out of Cassandra herself. If there is a book 2, I will read it. I wanted to hear Chole's story-and stories of the rest of the guys.
