It is a gripping story about space and the dangers attach to this new frontier. If I did not know anything about space I would have rated this novel 5 *. It is a very enjoyable book and it is the second time I have read it that is why I am more critical. I wish I could find another novel about science fiction of the same quality.

This was an "over the top" Tess Gerritsen book! The suspense built rapidly as the story unfolded and you are in space with the astronauts dealing with the frightening unknown. I have read all of Tess Gerritsen books and found this book even more engrossing than "Ice Cold" which was my favorite. If you don't understand some of the technical terms they may be found in the Glossary at the end of the book.

I love her character development--her story lines--her medical knowledge--her fact discovery to write this book.
She takes time in setting the pace but you will diffidently be drawn by "Gravity" to turn the pages to learn more
and to be truly amazed!! This is the first book I have read by this author, but now I have started to read another book
by her. Happy reading!!!
The Silent Girl (with bonus short story Freaks) - A Rizzoli & Isles Novel :: The Apprentice: A Rizzoli & Isles Novel :: A Rizzoli & Isles Novel - The Mephisto Club :: Life Support :: Life Support by Tess Gerritsen (1998-08-01)

Having read only the Rizzoli and Eiles books
I found this book a refreshing change. The book held my attention throughout. It changed my understanding of how some people feel about air travel and space.

I've been a science fiction fan. This novel gives you a look at the space program, science labs on the station and how fragile our exsistance could be. Tess Gerritsen novels are infused with medical knowledge and the nack of telling a story brillantly.

I totally loved this book. Wanted to see the movie but read the book first. Glad that I did! The writing was fantastic, fully descriptive, drawing the reader into the action and intensity of each situation. A real page-turner. Didn't want to put it down. Fully enjoyed this book. Only had one regret, that it had to end! Highly recommend this book to all medical intrigue/sci-fi fans.
